Repetitive weekly challenges...

It is annoying me and I doubt I’m alone her but I the weekly challenge is just the same thing every week you guys need to mix it up like make it so that you have to earn a certain amount of kills or earn a certain amount of kills with something. Now I know you aren’t bungie but you should think about what they did bye king the weekly challenge campaign one week, multiplayer the next and spartan ops the next and if you do something like this please don’t make it the same challenge.

I dont mid it. I like it better than Reach id say. SOme are a pain but i tend to ignore alot of them

Boltshot. Dmr. More dmr. Holy kamolie was that a light rifle? Cool. One carbine every 20 games. Dmr every other guy. If you happen to be lucky for some reason, you’ll see somebody with a BR.

So you want less weekly challenges per week? Currently all modes have at least one weekly challenge per week. Today we have get kills with precision weapons, secondary weapons, kill so many covenant of different types, win flag matches and beat the campaign levels in different ways. It could be nice to see some of the war games challenges make it to campaign and spartan ops, ie get so many kills with precision loadouts or heavy weapons.

The challenges are like Spartan Ops missions. Boring, repetitive, and always rehashed and repeating. I really hate the ones that are like ‘Win 9 Oddball Matches’ for like 2k exp. Dear god, lets say we lose half those matches then you have to play 18 matches of oddball in a day. Who has time for that?

I had the misfortune of reaching lvl 130 less than 5 weeks after the release so challenges no longer matter. If I complete one it’s by coincidence.

But I agree, the challenges are very repetitive and hardly worthy of their namesake.

I don’t see why it’s so hard to make different ones…

And I don’t like how some daily challenges are for one gametype only.

I would like to see more skill based ones versus the simple grind out wins or kills (by volume) we have now.

Why not something like stick 6 enemies in one game or a snipe a player while in the air. Stuff like that would be really fun and actually require people to try different things. Hell even weapons based challenges would be great.

I’ve noticed that there isn’t nearly as much variety in the challenges as there was in Reach. I haven’t really played in about a month because I didn’t bring my xbox home from school for winter break so I’m not sure if this has changed, but during the first month the game was out I kept waiting for the campaign challenges to be something other than “Beat X level on Legendary solo” or “Beat X level with such and such skulls on”. In other words I kept waiting for them to be fun, but all I ever got were those two types of challenge. Where’s the “get X kills with such and such weapon” or “kill X number of such and such enemy” or “complete X level in less than 30 mins” or anything like that. It’s like there are only 2 or 3 variables per challenge that are all skulls or difficulty level. And that applies to the challenges for the other game modes, too. The Spartan Ops ones are all “kill X number of certain enemy”. That’s usually it.
