Halo 2 Servers were shut down by Microsoft, since their new software couldn’t afford H2 Multiplayer, the only way to do that would be creating a MM System for H2 from scratch. And that’s not going to happen neither: 343i Is too busy with Halo Anniversary and Halo 4, As well as Halo Waypoint. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s the truth.

You have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about and you are in no position to tell anyone what will be remade and what will not.
If MS can make money by remaking Halo 2 on it’s 10th anniversary (also the 10th anniversary of the launch of 360 Live) then Halo 2 will be remade and that is a fact of business. I believe they already know they will remake H2 but they would be stupid to say so now because of the launch of CEA.
CE was not remade because of good will, 343 (MS) remade CE because they could make a lot of money selling the disks and rest assured that MS has the money to hire any number of the worlds best programmers and engineers to do all the Halo’s they want.
There’s no excuse not to remake a game that will make you a pile of money.

People it’s a hopeless proposition. Halo 2 MP isn’t going to be re opened because the old xbox servers are gone. Poof. Disappeared. You’re just going to be disapoint if you keep on hoping for something thats not going to happen.
You are better off hoping for a Halo 2 Anniversary game. Of course the demand for it’s MP will be high, maybe even higher than CE’s.

That’s all well and good, and I’m sure everyone understands that a Halo 2 anything would take quite some time. But the more people talk about it the more the wheels turn, the more demand there will be for this product. I feel like if the demand is there, then it will be made. Even just an HD version would be acceptable to me, like the same idea that the PS3 has been doing with Ico/Shadow of the Collosus, and God of War collection etc. It’s not a far fetched idea.

Nope, if anything H2 will be available via XBL as a download like HCE.
As for XBL 10 year anniversary, H2 came out a couple years after XBL had been out so that would not fly.

The 10th anniversary of H2 and xbox 360 Live launch is what matters. Live was nothing until the 360 and Halo 2 were launched. So yes, the 10th anniversary does indeed fly and those are 2 good reasons to remake Halo 2.
