In Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, variants of the Halo: Reach trooper model were used for the marines in the remastered mode. An issue with the models with shoulder pads is that there are two textures (the UNSC logo and another that I don’t know the significance of) applied to them that, depending on the distance from the player, alternate between which one is visible. If you’re in a Warthog with a marine on the turret, even on Halo: The Master Chief Collection (at least on Xbox One S,) it constantly switches back and forth.
It’s a pretty small thing, but could this be improved in the PC port of the game?
I reckon that they will tweak/improve the graphics options to allow for customize-able render distances. It could also slip under their radar, or small stuff like that not being a priority for release.
I don’t want to get my hopes way up, but this would be awesome, but as the poster above said, stuff like this might come later if it isn’t there at release.

I think they’d want to prioritize making sure the game functions properly first before the patch up
the smaller details, I mean there’s still a lot of little texture issues and such on the level geometry in CEA to this very day…
The biggest thing i would want would be the rendering distance. However, i don’t think that will be an issue on pc. All of the mp maps ran on a xbox 360 fine with no major issues.
