With the recent death of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, I feel the UNSC Infinity should be renamed to the UNSC Armstrong. Though I am being a bit sarcastic, I do think it could actually fit. After all, the moon landing was one of, if not THE, biggest scientific achievement of the 20th century and the Infinity does represent a new era in the Halo universe’s story.

Although Neil Armstrong was awesome, the name doesn’t really fit in with the Halo lore and frankly - its simply too late to change anything. Besides, the name infinity just sounds better and matches the infinite possibilities and space to explore in the Halo Universe.
It also refers to it being the biggest ship.
I support only because it would fit this new age of technology the UNSC is going towards and in honor for the memory of Mr. Neil Armstrong.

I feel exactly like you do Decepticon. UNSC Armstrong would be such an amazing idea. Neil Armstrong was a legend. He amazed the globe as soon as he took the world’s first step on the moon. Such a magnificent achievement for human knowledge for the solar system and the entire universe.
I doubt the Infinity would be replaced by Armstrong for Halo 4. I wish it did, but I doubt it. 
You were a legend Neil Armstrong! R.I.P. You’ll never be forgotten in history and in our hearts for what you did that amazed the world.

The “faked Lunar landing” conspiracy.
Even though the UNSC Armstrong already exists in the Halo lore, it was only a mention in Halo Wars and even then, it’s only “most likely” named after the man.
UNSC Infinity is going to stick, but that doesn’t meant there can’t be another prominent UNSC ship in the Reclaimer Trilogy named the “UNSC Neil Armstrong”.
Know what would be a more fitting tribute to his memory? An actual moon base. Its been 40 years. We went from the first powered human aero flight to the MF moon in 60 years
