How about sprinting drains the sword and hammer slowly?
you can think of it as natural selection. since swords are overpowered, players with the sword are likely to survive longer, thus you see them disproportionately more than other weapons.
Because it’s Fiesta. That’s the entire point. It’s “chaos” the game mode. It’s not supposed to be balanced or fair. It’s a casual RNG fest. It’s fine if you don’t like that, not everybody does. But that’s the mode.
Hmm, yep I don’t like it at all. An unfair game does not seem like much of a game ‘to me’.
Anyway what I hate even more is having so much of it in the challenges.
perhaps for others. maybe it’s just me, but i’ve yet to encounter a fiesta match where most picked up or had swords. if anything, i see skewers more often then swords. but even then, other weapons are shared equally in my experience
I like to think of it like a “challenge mode”. Like playing campaign with skulls on. It’s difficult to play well, and I enjoy the challenge.
Plus, I get to practice with weapons that I don’t often get to use otherwise.
The game mode is broken, but that shouldn’t call for the removal of swords or hammers.
Personally all this needs is two things: random grenades every spawn (not very random if there’s no grenade variation), and everybody gets one random super and one random regular weapon every spawn (since about half the super weapons are trash, and the rest are only good for certain ranges it won’t invalidate the standard weapons). Keeps it crazy while nobody gets stuck with either only OP weapons or only unerpowered weapons at a spawn.
I think they might improve the game by disabling weapon and equipment pickup.
Whatever you’re spawned with is it and when you’re out of ammo, it’s punchy fist time.

I opt for punchy fist time over the weapons I start with anyway a lot of the time!

what a lie, I was spawned like 4 times with weak pistols, and most of the time I never get a powerful weapon.

TBF it is a samurai event. So swords dominating would be on brand.
Fiesta is just Oddball but the ball is the sword. I frequently spawn with the Disruptor, probably the most worthless weapon in Fiesta. I can actually get Ravager kills sometimes. If you see someone with a sword or even hammer, everyone should team up on killing them. If you’re playing with randoms, good luck.

you mean the PP and disrupter? Nothing, that is just what I have spawned with to give the enemy team with the power weapons a free kill
