Seriously… It’s applicable.

Fiesta truly is random, no one here gets the same repeat weapon. I for one always get the stalker rifle

welcome to RNG. dunno what ya’l are on. but i’ve seen nothing but RNG weapons. no 1 specific weapon
from the BR, to swords, to hammers, to pistoles, snipers, etc… luck is just coincidentally swords for you. or the enemies are picking up swords from your dead mates

Swords & Grapples feat. Hammer.

I was in the same situation multiple games. Pistols vs Rockets/sword/hammer. The mode has no structure.

Kinda the point, no structure. Roll the dice and hope for a 7

Ya, but the weapons should be paired for balance. The formula for the RNG needs rules. I’ve played multiple games our team getting all short range or all long range. This is beyond RNG when multiple people have said all heavies weapons went to one side.

Guess should expect this considering the state of a year delayed game came out running 60%.

Have you heard the story of the iPod music shuffle, it is literally this. They removed the RNG to makethe same artist not be played consecutively.

Wow great comparison, that helped thank you. 343 is probably looking to hire.

That sounds about right. Nothing hurts more than spawning with a Plasma Pistol and the shock pistol only to be blasted by rockets or a hammer at the first corner you reach.

It’s kind of exposing problems with the game.

  • Sprint and Grapple can be OP with certain weapons
  • There is no close-ranged counter to Sword other than range which is unpredictable from my first point
  • Any Melee attempt “by any weapon” vs a Sword gets ignored (I think because it’s based on damage and Sword deals more damage), so you are practically defenseless unless you see them coming and kill them out of range.

Repulsor would be great if it were more abundant. They kinda sold us on better physics with the multiplayer overview and yet I never see scenarios where repulsor is as aggressively used as the grapple shot.

Plasma pistol and Disrupter combo for me. The one time I get the sword and grapple I remember that I use bumper jump and the grapple is completely useless to me. I live just long enough to remember that fact before I get a rocket in the face.

I hate fiesta so much in Infinite, the only good thing about it is that it highlights how few weapons are even remotely useful

This is every match of Fiesta and what it boils down to. 100% fact. They need to increase the rarity of swords, hammers and rockets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4MJVmpQexU

Summary

Upload pictures of you and your most manliest friends wearing your $20 nail polish, then they might listen to you. Change your pronouns, dont address yourself as a man, they hate those.

People tend to pick up the sword and hammer off dead enemies. That keeps them typically in play until depletion. It’s different with most other weapons. And as the match goes on this leads to a high percentage of melee weapons being in play.

Spawning with grapple and sword is quite rare in that combination. But having the sword I mostly manage to get a grapple before I die and then it becomes quite deadly (or thrusters, which with the sword gets the job done quite well too).

I wouldn’t change the RNG though (RNG is what Fiesta is about). It might be worth to reduce the number of charges on the sword in general. That would reduce them from accumulating over time. Without checking I have the feeling it allows for more hits than in previous titles.
