The only reason to date I played Infinity Slayer was so I could vote for Slayer Pro. I don’t like to play Infinity Slayer on a regular bases because I don’t like personal loadouts. The fact that you’d replace Slayer Pro which was just fine with Team Slayer in which you can now customize your loadouts will make the playlist unplayable for me. It was fine when you had a 50 50 chance of playing on Slayer Pro, but Now we will only play on Legendary BRs one third of the time, and I really don’t like those odds. I’m going to play a lot of Halo 4 until the update ruins it for me, and then I 'm going to take another 3 month break from the broken game that is Halo 4 unless you guys over at 343 grow some brains, and realize you guys are ruining Halo multiplayer for all of the classic Halo fans. Whoever is in charge of Halo multiplayer at the moment needs to be fired ASAP.
You’re… uhh, gonna fire Bravo? The people alongaide him?
Firing one person will do absolutely nothing.
I like Team Slayer/Legendary better than Pro. Throwdown is supposed to be your “competitive” playlist, and I’m not all that much of a fan of no radar.
I’d actually prefer it if they removed Rumble Pro from the Rumble Pit playlist as well, and replaced it with “Rumble Slayer”; featuring Custom Loadouts, but no personal ordnance, just like the new Team Slayer gametype.
This is always going to be an unsolvable problem, simply because of the low population these days. The people that wanted to play Slayer Pro get mad if Infinity gets voted for. The people who wanted to play Infinity Slayer get mad if Slayer Pro gets voted for. If you want even starts, you can vote for Legendary Slayer, or go Team Throwdown. You simply have to go with what you got.
P.S. Insulting 343 won’t help you get what you want.
Team Throwdown is always BRs, and LS is being removed. QQ.

Nope, just moved.
If they remove pro… IMA B PISSED

Like any of the scrubs in Infinity who got wrecked in LS are going to vote for it.
Legendary BRs will be there, its fine.

If you want to be playing competitively, you shouldn’t really be playing solo in the first place. With a full team you’re pretty likely to get whatever you want.
I’d rather have Slayer Pro than Legendary BR’s
Introducing Pro to Infinity Slayer playlist was huge mistake in the first place. After that population of IS dropped down to the level of SWAT playlist. Now they’re repeating that mistake with Legendary BR. If these people should be fired, then for totally different reason: they just don’t learn from their mistakes.

I really do think you’re in the minority in thinking that Legendary slayer doesn’t make more sense than slayer pro in the play list.
That being said, its a ridiculous amount of erosion of the play list’s purpose. This essentially makes the voting screen a return to the Halo 3 “veto for game type.” You’re voting for what game type you want to play, not map. And in any given game most of the people may be unhappy with the game they end up playing. Combine that with the low population and ability to back out in menu without voting… that’s gonna be alot of partially full games.
I prefer both legendary and team slayer to infinity, and I’m happy they are experimenting with game settings that might or might not be used in Halo 5. Its still a mistake to leave the play list without an identity.

Well, right now for those who don’t like Infinity, there’s Pro without radar vs Legendary with just 1 loadout. I think both of these gametypes should be putten together on separate playlist catered to Infinity haters. Even though I prefer Legendary to Pro (but Legendary AR, not BR, which to me is just another, dull, one-weapon gametype) both of them just aren’t what vast majority of people expect from Halo 4.
If you say that there are more people who would like to have their radar and use only BR, than people who would like to have 5 weapons to choose from, but no radar, then I say: ok, whatever. Both groups combined aren’t anything near to Infinity population and that’s the reason why none of these gametypes should be in Infinity Slayer playlist.

You’ll note that I agreed with you that infinity slayer is being mismanaged.

Yeah we get it, you want a “infinity slayer only” playlist but the population is too low and it’s not going to happen. Adapt and play forge maps or slayer pro 1/10 times, if you really think that the community hates pro/legendary. Also it’s a 343i decision, not feedback from infinity haters, because they want to consolidate the playlists (and they said that multiple times).
Be grateful that you can still play infinity slayer, because i think that they are going to change a lot/remove your precious ordnance and custom loadouts for halo 5.
> You’ll note that I agreed with you that infinity slayer is being mismanaged.
I’ve noted. I’m not happy with Legendary in Infinity, you’re not happy with Legendary in Infinity and not anyone, who is using common sense, is happy with Legendary in Infinity.
Only people who are happy are Infinity-haters who just don’t get it, that right now they’ll have no options at all when it goes to voting for a map. Or that few-thousand population, which is suppose to give them faster and lag-free matches, is in fact Infinity population which will make them feel like they’re unwanted guests (which they are).
> Be grateful that you can still play infinity slayer, because i think that they are going to change a lot/remove your precious ordnance and custom loadouts for halo 5.
Yeah, after multiple, failed, attempts to cater “traditional” fanbase and when Infinity Slayer is the only Slayer gametype that is attracting stable population, I’m sure you’re right.
Actually I’m not, that was me trying to be sarcastic.

Well… I’m happy for selfish reasons compared to the population of about 100 people that I got the last time I tried to play Legendary.
I just don’t pretend that population doesn’t reveal the preferences of the Halo 4 community.
Legendary Slayer, almost perfect classic gamemode, 3.1k less of population than Infinity Slayer. What does that say? People would rather have more Legendary gametypes and have it a bit fixed or just don’t like it.
How hard is to make playlists for both people following feedback?
Theres already 3 lists and currently only one is liked by its respective community, Infinity Slayer…
Now we need a true Slayer Pro, in Throwdown, the current Slayer Pro settings are actually wrong and only favor the use of the BR and the DMR. Which is the same than Legendary BRs weapon settings TBH.
And Legendary Slayer is a fail of a list, no Magnum, sprint enabled, an the powerweapons are messed up
