not when halo 5 doesn’t have the numbers to support it. It’s unfair to players outside of the U.S. Halo 5 may have the best retention since Halo 3 but when you considered how low its sales probably are currently as well as being compared to lol Halo 4 and the MCC well gee no wonder retention looks great. Reach was a turn off for a lot of people as well so that may explain that. Point is OP there aren’t enough players to justify region locking again. Yea either its they don’t find a match or you deal with lag but the only money they’re really making anymore is req money and they get that by people still playing.

Seems fair to give players the option to choose between faster matchmaking, even (fair) matchmaking, and/or optimal connections.

Classic example of a vocal minority getting what they want despite being wrong, EU servers were fine before (UK at least) and now I’m constantly with Americans even at peak times, and with a ping time almost triple that of UK only servers we’re getting -Yoinked!- over.
