Removing NXOE for H5

Can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to remove NXOE from my box and revert back to the standard dashboard? I’m just too suspect about NXOE and H5 working well together lol

You can remove yourself from the program, but I should warn you that it factory resets your xbox in the process. If you’re sure you want to go ahead, you can follow these instructions:

  • Launch the Preview Dashboard app, you can find it in My Games and Apps
  • Click on the Registration tile
  • Click on ‘Change’ (which should already be highlighted
  • Change to the standard preview experience or remove yourself altogether and got down to submit
  • Read over the additional info - it takse up to 72 hours to complete the request and will factory reset your console
  • Click cancel to back out or confirm if you agree to proceed

Go into the enrollment section of the preview app and choose to change enrollment (or something along those lines). Then it will do a system restore back to the old dashboard, wiping everything on the hard drive. I’m not sure whether this happens right away, or whether you need to wait until there is a regular update to restore back to.
Preview members have been getting messages saying that all preview members will be getting the NXOE soon too so, unless you leave the preview program entirely, you might end up doing a system restore for nothing and end up back on the new dashboard within the next week or two anyway.
