Removing Fiesta.. why?

Last I checked Fiesta wasn’t super special enough to only be around during events, so then why would 343 be removing it after Tenrai? Couldn’t tell ya, if it were me, I’d just keep it in… but marketing and all that.

One would think because of all the backlash, that they’d be looking to keep us happy… yet we keep finding things out that make the overwhelming majority of the community upset, and for good reason.

How many more Halo games have to launch like this in order for 343 and Microsoft to catch a hint?

fiesta has never and should never be a playlist. Go make a custom

It worries me that fan favourite modes will be given this same treatment & be rotated in & out like this when the current selection of playlists are lacking.

I’m concerned about this too. Can you imagine if Infection is only around for a Halloween event or something?

That would be dreadful, I’m also concerned by how infection would even work in Infinite considering they removed the traditional Shotgun, even if the Bulldog kills in one hit in the Infection gametype it’s got a pretty forgiving fire-rare & reload speed which sounds like a balancing nightmare for the mode.

I think the best option is to roll out an Action Sack playlist to handle game modes like Fiesta.

Don’t give them any ideas!

Why shouldn’t Fiesta get its own permanent playlist outside of Action Sack?

Other than the last few years of H5, fiesta has always been on a rotating featured playlist

after a while fiesta does get annoying so its fine to play it now and then but all the time does get annoying and I love fiesta but I know I dont need to play it 24/7

I’m not a fan of fiesta but removing modes while the game has barely any to begin with is stupid. I was rooting for this game at first but with the endless amount of braindead decisions from 343i I won’t be sad to see it die. I’m just excited for campaign rn.

There should be no rotating playlists PERIOD. The only reason a playlist should ever rotate out is if it’s coming back as version 2.0, with fixed issues. Why the heck do they do this? How is it bad to give players an increasing option of playlists?

I’ve not played a single Fiesta game. Why? Because I don’t care for it. I have no issues with it being on my screen. There should exist an increasingly longer list of playlists for the player base. We’ve been discussing this since the first tech preview…about how bad it would be to see rotating playlists again…

It’s my understanding that the reason why playlists got rotated is because the game’s population wasn’t big enough to support finding matches quickly, so playlists got consolidated and rotated to ensure players can join matches without waiting too long. I do not see how this can be the case with Halo Infinite, considering its population is as big as it’ll ever be right now, and Fiesta was wildly popular in Halo 5. I think the best thing for Halo Infinite at the moment would be more variety in permanent playlists, and given its popularity, I see no reason to make Fiesta rotational right now.

Well it always has been and its a classic. Most people enjoy it. The game still has a lot of other game modes to add first though.

personally dont like the randomness that is Fiesta. I hated playing it for the challenges.

People are not going to be playing very long if that’s the case

Probably because, like many other aspects of Destiny they have copied, they thought the idea of FOMO Events would be a good idea for Halo too.

Why permanently add modes to the game, when they can ‘carrot and stick’ players into returning every 3 weeks, with bait and switch marketing tactics for your ‘free rewards’?

“Coming soon: Swat in matchmaking, with your free Alpha 9 armour core.”
Except the core will make you look like the Rookie, the event pass will let you customise as far as Buck, and the rest of the team will be in the store for $20 a pop.
