Although my view may be a bit biased but here it is…
Sprint: I can make my GENETICALLY ENHANCED SPARTAN SUPER SOLDIER run 10% faster than base speed if that. Sounds like my soldier is not to “Enhanced”, but at least its something… +1.
Smart Scope: I can basically scope on all weapons, but instead of pressing down the RTS I use LT, simple fix is to just switch it back to RTS and its like Smart Scope never existed, although it does.
Other Spartan Features: I played Halo 5 MP beta and was able to do things that I have wanted to do since Halo CE, for instance clamber up a covenant crate like the elites or feel super and enhanced by using cool abilities.
The End
10%? I thought it was 100%. If you don’t like the default control settings, there are plenty of others to switch to.

It’s only on LT for one control scheme… All the rest have it on the stick like always…

While that is true, making the one control scheme with it on LT the default drastically changes how people use zoom. A lot of people do not change their control scheme, and just get used to the default, so making a scheme with it on RS would actually go a long way in making the game feel and play more like “Halo”.

What do you care if people are using a different control scheme? If you think they have an advantage simply switch to what they use. Unless you have some disability that prevents you from doing so.
I agree 100% with what they are adding to Halo, and a simple solutions are posted above ^. That’s why I said I may be biased but to me it makes sense that my Spartan has all these additions. That’s why I capitalized the enhanced soldier part. Like I said though, just my opinion.
If you want Smart Link on RS, then change the controls. I personally think the H4 scheme should be default. It works better. I am part of the Recon Master Race though.

Seriously I use the default because i like how all the other buttons are set up. I wish we could do custom button mapping but its just not and option

I think that zoom is used differently in Halo than it is in other games, and by taking other games button layouts you are implying that they should be played similarly. I care because in the beta everyone was running around zoomed in, my teammates included, and they got killed because of it. At the same time zoom gave a buff to automatic weapons, instigating people to walk around zoomed. THat is not the way Halo has been or should be played and it can be changed easily by switching the default control scheme, because as I said earlier, people more often than not just stick to default controls. I think that the HAlo 4 button layout should be default.

I agree with with the bit about autos, eventhough it has nothing to do with control scheme. Same with bad teammates running around zoomed in–that’s just bad playing and you can do that in all halos.
