Recent removing drop shields from my custom games violated my game rights as this was one of the loadouts that I used for a certain game type and effects. This was one of the selling points of the game. Please replace it immediatly as it has now been disabled from my original game disc. Removing it from Multiplayer games is one thing (Even though gamers are upset and should be in some game types) but disabling on my Reach disc is another. I can use this option in custom games if I like. Sorry to be up front about it. I normally praise you but this is in clear violation of my rights from the original purchase of the game. I expect the update, like now. Thank you.

but rarely. You would think the fact that its limit now compared to the bubble shield from Halo 3 it would be in more game modes plus it has a cool animation to it that reminds me of Starry Night

Sorry it is in only CTF now but no longer in slayer games. But I lost the Slayer option. As long as I can do the Art photo I am good
slayer custom games I mean. We use to have that option.
I will pre order Halo CEA this weekend as now I am a happy camper. Just all these updates are switching things around and confusing me. I am going to learn where all option are now in the game types. Until the next update. I have to pick up the hair off the ground I pulled out and glue it back on my head. Maybe tighten a few screws too .

Could someone please inform the greater community of EXACTLY where and when dropshields have been removed? Someone from 343 or Bungie (whoever issued the update)?

She is the Community Manager for 343. One of the things she does is moderate but she does a lot more than just that.
Anyways, that doesn’t matter. I read through large numbers of internet articles that outline the changes caused by the TU, and none of them mentioned changing the loadouts of Multiplayer Matchmaking. They all talk about mele bleed-through, armor-lock changes, sword blocking, etc. but NONE of them mention the dropshield ability loadout.
If they really did modify the loadouts available in Multiplayer matchmaking, then they need to come clean and admit what they did. We paid for this game, they have no right to change it clandestinely.

I believe the OP was confused. They didn’t take Drop shield out of the game at least not to my knowledge.
Edit: Bungie took the drop shield out of MM at least in some Objective gametypes a while back and stated as much in one of their monthly updates.
