Okay I’m not saying that all the bans are unfair or anything like that. A lot of them make sense but when i’ve paid money (Yuh know that thing we all work hard for) and I can’t even play multiplayer over what? A few to many accidental suicides or leaving a game like -Yoink- me that just doesn’t make sense. So I’m here trying to see if anyone else feels like I do so we can change this crap. Like why can’t it just be a kick from the game and a removal of anything that’s happened due to that players ignorance? But no that’s too difficult for are friends at halo. They gotta take the easy way out and ban their customers for two hours. This one feature is ruining the game for myself and im sure many others. So seriously halo I’m asking you as earnestly as I can. Can you please for the love of halo just -Yoink- off?

Banning whether it is unfair or not is an implemented tool to lessen griefing in ranked ARENA (Non Join-In-Progress) playlists. Now sometimes the ban is too harsh which is why a protest ticket system should be available which allows players to plead their cases formally and have an 343 Industries or Microsoft officiant overlooking this case, and then they can explain why the initial ban was given and deem a more appropriate punishment, like lessening the ban times for example or completely lifting the ban.

its like feeding a lazy fat kid that never does anything but vomits in your face…
the only answers you will get there is:
“Stop being a habitual quitter”
“fix your internet”
“you have DNF’s”

Wow you skrub just going through your service record i found 10 quits which you’ll probably defend as them being “Derp I gother kicked cause h5’s servers are baaaad” and you’re barely a level 12 and started playing arena the 24th. Surf account or not this isn’t COD boy you can’t just quit cause you got rightfully smashed and that got your -Yoink!- in a bunch, you’re that player that is toxic as hell in game the random everyone hates. You have double the quits I do and I’m lvl 145 (not that that means anything). Stop quitting and you won’t get banned, what will also help is if you lose that sense of self entitlement. Yeah you paid for the game but there are rules and courtesies you quitting hampers the experience of those that are now down a man. If your thought is “now I’m quitting halo!!!” Go ahead 343 already got your money.
So…players get banned for leaving games…can’t play them, other players can’t keep a full team together, players banned can’t join those games in progress, so more players quit, get banned.
That’s some good logic. I forget, 343i has done so much to earn our trust, we should allow them to tell us how to play and if we can quit or not. Yep. Sounds about right.

It’s the guys choice if he wants to quit, you paid for his game and console? Did 343i pay for it? Does anyone outside of the person who owns the console, house that the console sits in, internet that console uses to go online, and I’d say heat/AC so you and your console don’t die, have the right to tell you that you can’t leave a game? And what’s worse, after giving my 20 dollars for Xbox Live service and 60 dollars for Halo 5, I have to abide by 343i’s rules? Unless I’m intentionally hacking, breaking, or exploiting the game, there’s no need for a “ban-hammer”.
I mean the friggen thing can’t even ban players who do maliciously annoying crap to make you quit, like team killing, so why do I get penalized?

Aside from you pointless exaggerations that do nothing to further your point, I obviously didn’t pay for any of those things. Yeah you have to abide by the rules guy like everyone else, it’s not hard at all to not quit and see a game through to its end. Instead you blame everyone else for you being a poor sport. 2016 what a time to be alive where people victimize themselves even in video games. You get banned after a series of quits and it’s NEVER longer than 15 minutes for your first ban my first was 9 minutes…is that amount of time that hard for you to endure? Or is your sense of entitlement/ego that severe?

How many other games do you get banned from if you quit? Why even allow the option then? Why not force the player to completely shut down the Xbox? If they ain’t playing Halo, they ain’t playing `Box. The point I’m trying to make, which makes you afraid (cause it hurts to acknowledge) is: unless I’m violating the terms of agreement, going into your Halo 5 account and stealing all of skilled kills, then I’m not overtly breaking any rules. It’s 2016, how often does your local Wendy’s keep you prisoner until you finish all of your food? Do they ban you if you don’t?

It would be better if it was used only on RANKED playlists (the whole point is to dissuade smurfs) rather than a blanket arena ban since BTB is on the same category. Same goes for Grifball and Infection.
And it has no place in Warzone where things can go from great to catastrophic in the blink of an eye…

The fact you paid means nothing, you are paying for the right to play their game. Purchasing it means you are agreeing with their user agreements which means you have to follow their rules. Sames thing applies to attending an amusement park, dont follow the rules, lose access (of course its only temporary this time)

You must not be very bright…quitting games early is a breach of the Code of Conduct which by extension breaching the terms of agreement. I didn’t acknowledge cause I thought it was clear as day. Also bud you gotta rework the way you debate asking a bunch of pathetic questions isn’t how you do it, it makes you seem like a child so much so that I am laughing right now. As for your Wendy’s comparison…I can’t believe I’m even acknowledging this…that is FOOD this is a video game. If Wendy’s confined you to the store that’s breaking actual laws that’ll get them in actual trouble whereas with games, nope. I can’t stand people with mentality like yours talking to you people is pathetic. I made my points nothing further is required. Also nice 2 DNF’s you got pretty recently bet it was the servers huh?
I report people that Quit early all the time, regardless of team. 90% of the time in Ranked playlist, if you lose a teammate, you are going to lose that match, especially when playing with randoms who forget that it’s a team game, not COD. The only time I have ever quite a match was because my kid woke up and I needed to attend to him. I usually let the team know that I have to go due to that and tell them I’m sorry for having to quite. Overall ban hammer isn’t that big of a deal, it’s got me like once and laughed about it and went and did something else until the ban was lifted.
If you are getting to many suicides in a game, then you are just simply not paying enough attention to your surroundings. They make distinctions between throwing yourself off a map to when your in the heat of battle and just simple didn’t notice you were next to a ledge. You get a suicide when no one does damage to you in the last 3 or 5 seconds.
They are only asking you to sit it out for 12 minutes in most arena matches except for the odd ball games. So unless you have some reason IRL that you can’t sit it out for 12 minutes, then don’t play please. I have a another little one on the way and play mostly at night. Once my little one is born, I probably will not play very often until the little one starts sleeping though the night because I know that at any minute my newest little one will wake up and need me, so I’ll play something I can pause. In short I think your attitude needs an adjustment.
As for Rank vs Non-Rank, Ban hammer should still affect either or, but it’s threshold should be higher for Non-Ranked, but that’s my opinion.
