REMOVE THE WARZONE FIREFIGHT INCREASED RESPAWN

I think pretty much everyone agrees with this…

Yeah, it’s one of the countless problems with WZFF.

I don’t get why they even put it in. No one even asked for this…

bu bu bu bu but having the increased spawn timer helps increase the difficulty so this makes you more skillful.

For example if you can’t avoid this this this this then you deserve the death and the long respawn time.

OP…truer words have never been spoken for WZFF…ever IMO

The worst part about it is that it’s all about when you happen to die. Not how often.

You can die 4 times in Round 1 and be in last place, and you’d only be at the respawn screen for ~25 seconds total.

Be in first place and die once on Round 5? Respawn screen for 30 seconds!

I think it should be increased.

However much I agree that FF is a bit too unforgiving at the moment (it is mostly fair, but could use some tweaking in some of its most important parts), this topic should be discussed in the Official Warzone Firefight Feedback Thread, as this entire thread falls into that category.

So making the game artificially more challenging by having you out of action for more than 30 seconds, is the solution? How does that make it more challenging? We all know the ridiculous ways enemies can kill you in this mode.

There IS NO challenge in WZFF. No skill either. Spam tanks = win. Don’t even try to argue. I’ve played more than enough WZFF to know this. I’ve had skilful team with me testing this, and no matter how good your team is, ione noob in a tank “sniping” will trump the effort of skilled players who don’t use REQs. Boss is inside a building? Use an ultra wraith.

Not to mention that it is in the social playlist.

So to say it needs to be more “challenging” when the only challenge in game parts is req sponge bosses and out of sandbox enemies (Knights used as cannon fodder, grunts with shields and voids tears > better than elites) that make no sense in Halo. Knights are elite prometheans who lead crawlers/ soldiers…not cannon fodder.

In order to make it challenging, firstly the enemies need to have acceptable amounts of health, killable by loadout weapons. No bosses, they are just normal enemies with high health and one. hit kills. Have a lives and wave system, like the classic FF. Actually, just have everything like the classic FF, in a mode called arena firefight. With power weapons and vehicles spawned on the map, as it should be.

Lol

People have been putting this into that feedback thread, and many other things since it’s launch. Doesn’t seem to have done anything.

The only things theyve fixed are very obsurdly obvious broken things, like one hit grunt mech needles…which should have been picked up in their “rigorous play tests”.

I think after all all this time it deserves its own thread, as I don’t believe it’s been acknowledged.

I don’t usually die in firefight.

But I do sometimes on round 4-5 and it sucks waiting 30 seconds or whatever. (It feels like 30 seconds)

Yes, but that was put up while I was in the process of typing my response, only saw it after I posted it.

Regardless, it’s clear for anyone who seriously thinks the respawn timers are fine as is. And next time, make it clear you are joking. As it’s can be considered baiting if you say you are joking multiple responses after. A simple “/s” at the end of it would have been fine.
