I’m seriously getting tired of noobs sprinting at me with this weapon it’s stupidly overpowered with the new sprinting speed and they should replace the conussion rifle as well since it’s completely useless due to the buffed primaries it should be replaced with rockets.

The concussion rifle is pretty much the counter to the sword. Just grab that instead of asking for it to be removed. You’d be surprised how hard it is to fight that weapon when someone catches you off guard with it.

What about the new million-a-game weapon and vehicle spawns on ALL the maps???
A hundred Sniper and OS spawns on adrift and abandon are WAAAY worse than the measly sword.
A hundred vehicles on all the BTB maps are WAAAY worse.

The sword is a POWER WEAPON. It’s supposed to be good, not just a novelty. The rockets can one hit kill from a distance and have splash damage, are those overpowered too?
As much as I hate the Boltshot in Halo 4, a rushing sword user is a free kill if you carry it.

Thats not a bad thing that it actually required tactics to use a close quarters weapon instead of people mindlessly charging like they do now it’s become far too easy to get kills with it now because of the increased sprinting speed.
I was referring to the concussion rifle being useless now due the primaries being buffed they never get picked up so I don’t see a point in keeping them there they should be replaced with something that is actually useful like rockets.
Concussion Rifle is your answer, just keep shooting the sword player, making him bounce back or away from you with it and he can’t even get close when that happens.
I have been finding them useful to help me finish the commendations for them.
I admit I have been running around with them both while playing Regicide, and having a good time doing it.
I like how your complaining about the sword and the map gives you a direct counter to it and your asking for it to be removed as well.
LULZ aside 10% isn’t going to make them sprint that much faster. Chances are said sword player would have gotten you anyway. Also if the buffed weapons are as amazing as you say then why couldn’t you kill the sword guy before he got to you?
Lastly I’ve actually been getting tons of CR kills ever since it got placed on heaven. People pass it up because they suck with it and would rather use an i win gun like rockets.
I think the concussion rifle should get a slight damage buff and a larger clip. It’s a power weapon but it has more risk associated with it like the scattershot and the needler which are both inconsistent.

Why don’t we just make every power weapon easier for everyone? the CR has always been a 3 shot and no ones complained before. plus it has enough to kill 2 people in one clip if you have good aim. That’s like saying we should give the sniper more ammo just because it has more risk then other PW.

Why does everyone think the Concussion Rifle is useless? I get at least two or three kills with it whenever I pick it up. It definitely counters the Sword since it pushes the enemy away. I think it’s a pretty consistent counter too.

So you want to replace a weapon that requires you to get close enough to kill you with one that allows you to be killed from far away because the former is overpowered? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

The Ar can, but to a certain extent. And really depends on how close he his.
A weapon that kills in one hit is overpowered? I wonder where you were on Midship?
