Remove the map Behemoth from the game

I enjoy the map, it’s actually one of my favorites.

I like Behemoth for the amount of fusion coils in the map… but the rest of the 4v4 maps for swat are just… ugh.

Instead of removing the maps, why not fix the spawn systems and only use them for modes with more players.
Maybe Squad Battle if they add it.

Usually I come to the defense of 343i’s decisions with the gameplay of Halo: Infinite.

But not their maps.

Behemoth is actual garbage. I wholly agree. Launchsite is also truly, truly terrible.

I sort of like Launch Site and Recharge, but the rest of their maps…I don’t think I’d mind if they were removed.

It’s not too big, lmao. Just because you don’t know how to move around the map, it doesn’t mean that it’s too big. Just because the map is not suited for swat, it doesn’t mean that this map has no place in the game.

This is a 4vs4 map with vehicles - of course we’ll need some space for them. I’m glad these type of maps return. And I’m very glad that 343 moved away from H5’s map design, where every map basicially was more or less the same. Either the 1000th variation of midship, or another symmetrical square map with tons of cover like every other COD Map.

I really hope that we will see more, unique maps in the future like Damnation, High Ground etc. for various gametypes.

Nah man, behemoth is the best map 343 has ever made and one of the top halo maps. Its versatile, has tons of terrain cover and inside passages and above all it feels like a halo map. If they need to remove a map let it be aquarius… That crap was pulled straight out of of halo 5.

Behemoth, launch site, streets and bazaar are maps that feel and play like halo. They have secret passages, choke points, firefights for power weapons, they look like actual places and not just like some milk crates stacked together.

Behemoth is one of the better maps for Team Slayer, CTF, and Fiesta, in my opinion. However, I do think it should be removed from SWAT. It is way too open for that gametype.

Never had that experience, behemoth is an open map so your situational awareness must be different than if you were playing a close quarters map.

More importantly perhaps you need to get familiar with the layout. Behemoth provides more coverage than the regular 4v4 maps.

CTF on this map is super fun- just not so much on ranked.

It should definitely be removed from rank, especially since HCS does not use it. But social it’s fine, it’s designed for vehicle play.

I don’t honestly know why so many people dislike Behemoth so much. I’m not going to sit here and say it’s my favorite, but I rarely rage during the map or anything.

I find players use the grav lifts way too much. You get picked off from long range a lot less when you run the “lower ring” lanes (where the repulsers spawn). This is also (imo) the fastest flag juggling route that also has usable cover along the way.

Behemoth is a bad map for Ranked Match, mostly for Capture The Flag. Is More Big for 8 Spartans. Remove it by Ranked

like I said earlier remove it form some playlists not all together the map is fun with slayer fiesta, and ctf not so much with swat not sure bout ffa

CTF on Behemoth in ranked doesnt play well. In ranked you have no vehicles, so its really hard to get the flag. On higher ranks, everyone is using the same strategy. 2 player protect the flag, the other 2 try to get the flag.
You just to camp a little bit outside from the ramp, and 2 player stop the one who tries to get the flag. Easy with BR.
Had a lot ranked CTF matches on Behemoth that ended with a draw.
So please, remove Behemoth from ranked.

Its the only map i do great with CTF, the inside passages are a great resource to have. Only a fool would try the outside ring.

BTB - if H3’s standoff can house 8v8 - Behemoth can cope with 12v12.

Behemoth is definitely one of the few maps I’ve seen in halo that puts entire teams at a disadvantage from spawn trapping and such. I didnt even know there was a spawn animation until I played behemoth. Enemies were spawning in front of me in direct line of sight. They glint a digital gold aura. So obvious.

Idk who you think you are talking to with that. I suggest not doing so.

I know how to play Halo and my SR proves that.

Desync, hit reg, and spawns are the issues causing this from what I have been researching and testing.
