Not only are people turning off there xboxs, ppl are dropping the game completly. People are loosing the double xp THEY PAID FOR. My friends list is all -Yoinking!-. Fix this trash 343, horrible way to launch a big game that you u guys spent millions on marketing DOUBLE XP
so there is an xp cap in this game? if you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me what amount of xp is.

the cap is 150,000 for god’s sake. Why don’t you just play the game after you reach the cap? It’s still a fun game. Or do you need a treat every time you do something? Go back to COD you entitled little -Yoink-.
With double xp i hit the cap in 2 hours without even trying,thats pathetic.

I hit the rank cap in less than three and a half hours… With double xp… Now I can’t play matchmaking unless I want to waste the money I spent on double xp. Not cool.
I remember the good old days where people either played Halo to win games and rank up, or just play to have fun. Now people won’t stop b#@%!ing about “mehhhh the xp cap makes halo not fun mehhhhhh”. For the love of God either play the game or don’t. Play because the game is fun, not because you get a cookie every time you play a round. Sweet Jesus. Some of these players just make me sick
SR-1 to SR-29 (+ or - 1 or 2 ranks; I can’t remember exactly) is the XP cap. My friend got it on release date. Not sure how much XP that is.

Some people find certain things fun, some people don’t. Do think people go to school because they enjoy it? Some do, and others don’t. Some enjoy it but not enough to go if there was no benefit. The same applies to everything. Some people LOVE Halo 4, and would play regardless of rank or anything else, others not so much. Others, even with the ranks do not find it fun. Everyone is different and enjoys different things; if that makes you sick, I highly recommend to reconsider the way you look at the world.
I’m sure there is something about Halo that if it were removed, you would be here complaining. Maybe if all vehicles were removed? or there was no armor or customization? I’m sure there is SOMETHING which, without it, you would find the game dissatisfactory enough to complain on the forums. You may want to say “Well those are different”, in actuality they aren’t. Some people could care less about campaign, or forge, or whatever else. I can personally say that I would rather have a good competitive ranking system over campaign, spartan OPs, and FUD. I’m sure there are people who couldn’t care less about anything but Forge. Everyone is different, and everyone enjoys different things. Just because you value something doesn’t mean that’s the right thing to value, and the same goes for me and anyone else.

Here’s the problem. I spent MY MONEY to get double xp for the game. Sure I could play more games after hitting the cap, but those tokens that I PAID FOR will still be used. I’m not arguing for a removal of the cap, I just want my tokens to be saved if I’ve hit the maximum amount of xp for a day.
Once you’ve reached the xp cap, you’ve probably played too much today.

I’m really surprised that they did this, even though there’s no way in heck that I’d ever reach it… but I just can’t see why they decided to do this. The logic against the XP cap outweighs any argument for it.

I wish I didnt redeem my double xp I get xp capped so fast
Although I guess Ill just be playing Legendary Campaign whenever I get xp capped so I cant complain
