I can’t deal with this anymore. I’ve officially reached my breaking point. 343 has decided that their approach to the obvious problem will be total silence. That’s fairly shameful in my opinion. 13 year old children are screaming in glee that they can “pwn the noobs” with their Jetpack/Boltshot loadouts, and they are certainly entitled to enjoy doing so. But give me, the adult skill oriented player a chance to enjoy myself too. A playlist where the Jetpack/Boltshot cheese doesn’t exist. A place where skill reigns supreme. I ask little in the grand scheme, and judging by the community forum responses, I am not alone. Thoughts?
The Boltshot just needs nerfed. I would loooooove to see the Jetpack removed from MM though, it’s completely overpowered.
On the new Forge maps Shutout, Jetpack is crazy useful.
There’s something odd about playing a match of Halo when the enemy is flying all over the place. It feels more like a platformer than a real FPS

I choose to avoid this map at all costs, even quitting if it gets chosen. I refuse to use jetpack simply because I find it boring to use. But it is infinitely more useful on certain maps, like Shutout, that choosing anything else almost seems a waste of time

Lockout wasn’t designed for AA’s, I don’t care what anyone says, they break the map. However, I would like to see the Boltshot nerfed. You can’t however remove one AA and one weapon from matchmaking. People keep asking for this and it ain’t gonna happen. The Jetpack is very improved from Reach though.
Remove Halo 4 and/or Reach from your disk tray and insert Halo 3.
