I kinda can understand your frustration.

But, this is in no way a constructive criticism.
Why should the Battle Pass be removed?
Or how can the Battle Pass be improved?

You still have 120+ days time to reach Level 100 of the Battle Pass. I believe in you. This weeks challenges are not too hard in my opinion and you can earn a lot of XP.

And even if you have finished this weeks challenges, 50 xp per game is still better as 0 xp.

You see, the items are simply unlocked. No replacement needed but obviously 343 won’t do this because they need to pay rent at the studios

It could do with some work, i’ll offer some suggestions;

  • extra XP awarded for how well you play, XP for medals, XP for winning, XP for score, etc.

  • Keep “free” items in the pass like the armour pieces for the new MKVII like we used to unlock in the older games so that those that don’t buy the pass still have items to progress towards, throw in some name plates, flaming helmet, etc.

  • Keep the unique armour cores and items in the paid for pass, like they have now for the Noble Team armour sets for MKV(B), later seasons can add in other unique characters armour sets;

  1. Spartan II Teams (Blue Team, Red Team, Black Team, Grey Team, etc),
  2. Fire-team Osiris,
  3. Alpha-9,
  4. Fire-team Majestic and the likes,
  5. new weird armour permutations/cores (knights, samurai, Greek warriors, whatever),
  6. etc.

  • keep custom paint schemes (not the base colours) and the weapon skins/weapon cosmetic mods in the paid pass.

  • Have the pass “tied” to a rank so that it shows as a type of progression, season 2 could start at 101 rather than 1, or if you complete season 1 level 100 you get a type of “prestige” (would need to have a Halo type name) so that Prestige 1 Level 50 means you had completed season 1 and were 50 levels into season 2.

The battle pass shouldn’t have been been a thing, it’s just padded playtime with barely anything to show for it.

so by that edition the mcc pass is bad too then despite the praise it gets

I have never bought any pass for either game. I have never found any use for them but when it comes to the MCC it has more content than any title will ever have when it comes to Halo.

Yes it is. All battle passes are bad. I mean do you really need things explained? Why have these clearly “buy these level unlocks with our shatty system”. Like there’s plenty of threads about it dunno why we need to go over things for the hundredth time

here’s my solutions:: give more rewards in the pass (already happening with the current event pass and the updated ternai event) have a serpatre way to process the pass (already being worked on) there those are my ideas of solutions adn there better then removing it

Correction, I think they hinder the game in terms of what content is offered vs a full-priced game, especially how infinite is being handled.
