If they remove the banhammer then people will willy-nilly quit games when they start to lose and thus gams will never get finished. There must be a punishment. Oh and btw you must’ve quit a whole bunch of games to get a 3 day ban. You deserve it.

You’ve had 8 DNF’s (just arena) in the past 6 days. The banhammer is here to punish people like you who join a game and arent willing to stay until the end. Im glad to see the banhammer is doing its job correctly, and you deserved your 3 day ban.

If you leave so often that you can get a 3 day ban, then maybe you need to plan things out better.

This is the ban thead. Ban related stuff goes here. Stop removing yourself from games and the banhammer won’t swing your way. One quick question before I go, who has kidnapped you and forced you to play warzone? Do you need help?

The point of it, and the reason of its existence, is to regulate online play. Quitting, betraying, idling, and suiciding disrupt the game for others on your team; to deter this behaviour, the banhammer is there to dole out punishment where need be.
Simple solution: if you don’t want to get banned, don’t break the rules. 9 times out of 10, that works.
I bet those players in arena playing during your three day ban appreciate the ban hammer as they didn’t have a teammate who is a habitual quitter

It’s true. I don’t quit games. I have never been hit by the ban hammer.

The moment ban hammer is removed. Boosters will come back in massive numbers.
Never been banned and I have quit few games, lagged out of a couple and idled 1 when I got busy. If I quit its for a reason not because of losing even though there are some matches where we got destroyed. I don’t see an issue with having the ban, but I could see a reset every month maybe so some aren’t waiting days to play

It might not stop it completely but it will at least slow it down to some degree.
I personally think they should change the quit system in ranked arena to something like this:
- The match will end if a player quits
- The team in the lead right when the player quits will get the win.
- The rank gain/loss for the match will be the percentage of the winning team’s score to the points needed to win. For example, if a guy bails when his team is losing 8-20 in Slayer, the winning team will get 40% of the rank gain they would if the game was complete and the losing team will lose 40%.
- The quitter will lose double of his rank progression of what he would have lost if he stayed and lost the match.
- To prevent abusing the system to boost, the quitter’s fireteam will also receive the penalty.
The longest ban ive had is like 12 minutes. The only thing i dont like is that network issues count against you.

Erm, that may not work because last I checked some people do fine with 3 or even 2 people, if you do that to everyone, then most people wont play arena because of 4 things
- If the match ends when a player quits, there goes the match, I understand if there was 2 or 3 but 1? I want a full arena game, not a 45 second quit fest!
- The EXP Penalty will make everyone pissed to hell because its not their fault if they have a quitter, make the Quitter lose some exp and RP for he next round or simply ban them =P So 0% of people will be willing to play, afraid of a quitter
- And if you give a incentive to the winning team, then people will force others to quit by Lag Switches or other mods and tactics that people get banned for, Ive seen it in other games, if you add xp boosts to a quitting scenario, they force other off for the boost. Its madness
- And its doesnt matter, it takes one -Yoink- to abuse the system regardless of what the system is, it is in every game ever made. Period.
as for the man complaining, everyone agrees you need to finish matches and quit quitting. its simple, 3 1/2 days for 8 DNF, fine by me, no need to complain, the system is perfect the way it is. I dont want less people playing this game. More or less this crap preventing us from doing it.
