I don’t understand why is this challenge still a thing. Finding matches comp is literally impossible at all hours ESPECIALLY on PC. I have been unable to find matches for this playlist for 2 weeks by now, it’s simply impossible. And keep in mind i’ve been queuing at ‘peak hours’ on the most played playlist.

I agree. Its basically just a watsed spot for another challenge that can actuallt be done.

Agreed, it’s basicly impossible to do comps right now. I hope that they remove it and make the “win 3 social matches” just into “win 3 pvp matches” so that the ones that still find comp matches could use it towards those if they want.
And the monthly 25 comp wins should absolutely be removed (it is a rotational one).
Perhaps they can both change it in for an extra Custom games challenge. Now you only have precision kills and assists, they could expend on that with for instance vehicle kills, or objective medals, or something like that. There are a lot of people who play Custom Games, so an extra challenge for that would be nice.
I even have trouble finding firefight matches. Perhaps they can change that so that the duo-Firefight matches are also available for that challange. That would also be realy helpfull.
H3, team slayer seems to be the most populated playlist IMO. I don’t have trouble finding matches evening and night hours EST.
Maybe a compromise could be something like this.
Instead of Win 3 Social PvP Matches, Play 9 Social PvP Matches.
Instead of Wind 2 Competitive PvP Matches, Play 6 Competitive PvP matches.
It’s quite possible you’d get the same amount of playtime, but without the frustration of having to sweat every game just for the chance of winning.

Xbox or PC? Personally I’ll sit in that queue for 15-20 minutes if not longer depending on the hours I’m playing, it is the most populated but still takes way too long to justify this challenge being a gold challenge.

You missed the point here. The 3 social wins are not a problem (as far as i’ve heared). The ranked wins are, but not because you can’t win, but because you can’t even find matches. So changing that to play 6 matches will not help a bit.

There are a few thousand playing, but almost no one plays ranked. They are all either playing social matches, custom games or campaign.

Im sorry but this is the worst compromise. Completion challenges always encourage players to AFK matches. There are already enough AFKers in social and ranked, we don’t need anymore. A better compromise would be to earn X kills in ranked to actively encourage players to participate.

STILL CANT FIND MATCHES. Been here for 5 minutes. God christ almighty WHY is this challenge still a thing SURELY 343i has a stat board somewhere indicating how many people complete x challenge and they should KNOW barely if anyone is completing this. Why cant they just remove it already

Add my name to the list of people who want to see this dropped, because finding a match now in ranked is near impossible. I’d love to play ranked, totally, but the player base just doesn’t seem to be there.

There should be no challenges involving ranked in any way whatsoever because low population makes it unattainable in certain regions.
I’ve said it since they added it, ranked is dead and you can’t to 50 these days anyway if you did play it,. Ranked needs a complete revamp or insentive to play it over social.
Also the hit registration in halo 3 is terrible if you’re an eu player, 9 times out of 10 you have to play on US.

Only in H3 team-doubles do I find a match. And they are not enjoyable.
Maybe if ranked only had one playlist to search so the population was condensed. But this challenge needs to be removed.
