Stasis is arguably the worst map I’ve ever played on, and thats not just Halo. I know 343 are terrible at map making but this is a new level of mediocrity. Plays awful, everything looks the same so that makes callouts difficult, and its just a re skin of a fairly average map anyway.
If 343 want to aim high to make a decent game, they need to get rid of things as poor as this.
Stasis is fine and plays way better than Torque. If you think everything looks the same so callouts are hard you need your eyes checked. Idk how you can claim this is the worst map you’ve ever played on when we have Overgrowth and Riptide.
Worse map in H5 goes to antifreeze.

Every time a new map comes out, someone says, “it’s the worst map in the game, needs to be removed”. I agree it just comes down to a bad game, or someone hasn’t played it enough yet to get used to it.

Lets be real though, Overgrowth and Riptide are god awful.
Remove “X” it is a bad map. (Replace X with whatever the newest map is)

Im really not that bothered if I do well on a map or not. The reason people always say that the new maps need to be removed is because the majority of the time they really aren’t great. Just because its new doesn’t mean thats the reason its bad. Tyrant is a great map, for example

I wish map criticisms were more insightful so I could actually learn something. Everyone keeps calling the new maps terrible without ever bothering to explain why.

Watching some random Stasis gameplay. Seems like an average 3-lane design with some ‘towers’ at the end of the side lanes, almost like The Pit. Which isn’t great map design to begin with, but I’m not seeing anything outstandingly terrible about it.

Well that is fine to say now, because they have been out for a while and everyone has been forced to play them a lot.
Stasis is personally one of my favorite arena maps.I’ve had fun each time playing on it.

Stasis is good for CTF.
The more I play it the more I like it. At first I didn’t like it.
I prefer it to Torque as it seems to have more variety with the grav lifts, hydra, overshield and rockets.
I also like the sneaky passages that put you can use to get behind players.
The remakes are some of the worst maps in the game itself.
Statis, and Riptide, oh my gosh they’re horrible. So freaking horrible.
I hope we get some good maps coming to us in the months ahead.
The Rig though, LOVE that map to death, plays so well.
I’d love seeing like a Haven remake or Adrift from Halo 4 come back, that’d be pretty fantastic.

I like Riptide and Torque. I find them to be fun maps.
I personally love stasis. I think it is a great map. Learning callouts to the point of not even thinking about it takes time.
It plays better than torque and I really love the size of it. Plays well for CTF in particular, a very competitive and even map.
I usually dont talk down to someones service record. But you have only played 37 Arena games this season, given stasis was added 1/3 into May and of those 37 games you played only a handful of them would of been on stasis. April you didnt play ANY games, March you played 60 in arena, Feb you didnt play ANY, Jan you played 3 games and at launch you only played 7x games over all playlists. So frankly your knowledge, understanding and experience with ANY of the Halo 5 arena maps is limited at best. Basically all you did was play a couple of games of stasis got destroyed by people timing rocket and over shield then created a thread on here complaining about it.
This map is new even for people that play every single day. Give it some time.
