Remove Sprint-Shield Delay for Warzone Firefight?

Personally, I see no reason why it should stay for WZFF. The original idea behind the mechanic was to stop players from running away while hurt, preventing the attacker from getting the kill (see Halo 4), but the mechanic was intended for PVP, not PVE.
It’s not present in the Single Player Campaign, and since fighting other players is not going to be a part of WZFirefight, I don’t see any reason it should be included.

Just to clarify, I’m not saying it should be taken out of normal PVP, nor added in SP Campaign.

Any thoughts?

No it should remain, I don’t want my teammates going in close quarters because they think they can just run away and have their shields recharge.

There’s an armor mod you can unlock that does exactly what you’re saying, so you could use that.

I don’t want to have different base mechanics for different gametypes, seems like it would be too confusing.

Grifball has that different mechanic.

Does it really? Interesting.

But still, grifball is very different than every other gametype. WZFF is very very much like normal multiplayer.

I feel that all of the campaign mechanics like revive and sprinting while shields recharge should be in warzone firefight.
