This would also change some of the other abilities in the game which isn’t exactly a bad thing. Another thing is to make the base moving speed of the Spartan a little faster and remove the sprint feature. The thrusters would most likely have to be nerfed slightly but think this is something for 343 to look into and test out, why not it cant hurt to try it.
Why are people so keen on sprint leaving? I highly doubt it’s going to be removed

Sprint doesn’t bother me, im going to play this game regardless of what features or what people say. Been playing Halo since CE and would like to see halo stay around until I no longer game. Change is the way to make it stay around and im all for it, just thinking of all halo players. Some are open to change some want the same game cranked out every 3 years. It needs to evolve and am extremely excited to play H5. MCC is fun and I like it but after watching ninja and walshy play h5 ive just been wanting to play it and just find myself playing MCC to pass time till I can play the beta.
Sprint is going to be a core mechanic from now on, which for 343 partly was a choice based on market analysis. The broader gaming community apparently wants it. So get used to it running around instead of shooting while moving - or do as me: stop playing Halo.

I really -Yoinking!- hate sprint, like never before have I actually despised a game mechanic, yet I also realize it’s never going away at this point.
I’m not entirely sold on Thrusters, but at least I don’t absolutely despise them from what I’ve played with them.
