I recently grinded some doubles with my friend and one thing we noticed was how much the Song of Peace affects the game. If you don’t know, the Song of Peace is the second tier Suppressor that doesn’t require a warmup. It has extremely long range, a very low TTK, and tracking rounds ffs. If this was a power weapon that spawned every two minutes, I’d be fine with it, but it respawns every thirty seconds. No gun can counter it effectively and takes little to no skill to use. The only way I killed someone with it without dying was when my partner and I doubled teamed him or I perfected him when he wasn’t looking. So please 343, I beg of you, please remove it from Doubles.
I, too, get many kills in Doubles when I double team a person with my teammate or get them when they’re not looking. It’s a pretty solid strategy. In any case, it’s fine. It doesn’t need to be removed.

No -Yoink-, but I said that’s the only way I was able to kill a person with the Song of Peace.

Why? Besides your other remark, you didn’t actually give a reason. So why should a clearly OP gun that takes little skill and has tracking rounds not be removed?

I think reqs overall need to be taken out of ranked arena overall fiesta is fine infection maybe but any ranked arena play just shouldnt have req variants
I’d probably swap out the Song of Peace with a standard Needler if I had the chance. Yes it is also a tracking weapon like the Suppressor, but at least the lower overall range and slower projectiles would be a lil’ more forgiving. Besides, who doesn’t love dishing out explosive acupuncture?

Agreed, I’d take the needler, SMG, or even the standard Suppressor over the Song of Peace. The Needler would be the best replacement though.

I’m p sure what Afro Thunda X was saying is that if it’s genuinely that OP, you wouldn’t need to have your teammates distracting them to get a kill with it.
If you keep dying while trying to use it 1v1 or 1v2, then it’s probably not OP at all. It’s a map pickup - if you don’t wanna die to it, pick it up.

No, I meant the enemy had the Song of Peace, not me. I could only kill the enemies who had the Song of Peace when we double teamed him with our magnums.
It shouldn’t matter if I can pick it up or not. If it’s an OP weapon and not a power weapon, it shouldn’t be in the game.
I’d argue to make doubles have HCS settings or br stars with no autos

I think that’d make the playlist more boring (and annoying) than anything.
i like the song it keeps me alert

I prefer the pistol to the BR so I’m gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Plus I really like what they’ve done with autos.

Umm what? How can you argue for an OP gun because it “keeps you alert?” Anything else can keep you alert. Why does a game breaking gun have to stay in just to keep you alert?
Yes. Played doubles with my friend on mutipile occasions, rounds we won is because one of us would just run and grab the song while the others covered. It needs to either be on a risky power weapon pad or not be in it all. I already get easy kills with the default suppressor on the rig, it’s ridicilous the song is in doubles.
