Ok, so we’ve been having this problem for a long time now. I live in Brazil, and like most people in all of South America, we are UNABLE TO FIND GAMES. No games at all. It doesn’t matter if it is Arena or Warzone, we can spend the entire day and get 5 matches if we’re lucky. I search mostly by myself, and I can easily wait several hours, just staring at the “Searching for Spartans” screen. Then I get the “Unable to Match” message.
We’ve already complained about this, and it seems that nobody wants to listen to us.
This is extremely unfair for players around the world. So we ask 343 to remove region restrictions in Halo 5 servers. We are not lesser fans than people in US. Or maybe 343 is willing to sacrifice other people’s experience (thousands of people around the world) just so american players won’t cry about playing on bad conections. Just saying.
Just a reminder: Brazil is one of the biggest gaming markets in the world, and we can’t play the one of the biggest Xbox game.

Maybe a naive question, but if Brazil is one of the biggest gaming markets in the world, why can’t you find plenty of games against other players in Brazil?
they need to find a balance, when region lock was removed in ociana (I’m from australia) the lag made the game unplayable. when u walk 5 metres then jump back 4 it is not even worth playing.
Sorry to hear that , i am from Colombia and have no issues finding games , MM times are usually less than a minute, and games are 100% lag free , even on MCC i have played games with people from US and europe usually with no lag or a minimun amount.
Also i dont think there is any preference on region whatsoever but is based on ping values , i have played like 1% with fellow latin american players , 99% of games i play is with english speaking spartans.

Dude that is a great question, i would love to know why as well, it makes no sense, seriously, i still have not managed to find a single multiplayer match

Wow srsly? I mean, i never had ping problems while playing titanfall, where you can chose the servers region
i always play battlefield 4 and titanfall in USA servers with a pretty good ping. Why not in Halo?I’m from Paraguay. And yeah, the waiting in the lobby of H5 and MCC very annoys me
