I’ve all but given up increasing my rank in these playlists. Especially Halo 4. Why you might ask? Because now that there’s rankings, unless I’m rolling in with a team it’s pretty much impossible to win a single game because MY team is full of idiots who got this game about a week ago and haven’t played a FPS in their life. I just completed about 4-5 games and not a single player on my team even broke double digits…kill wise besides me. Oh they for sure broke it with their deaths. I have a 10 right now and all I ever get are 1-5’s. Remove this crap so I can possibly win a game.

He’s complaining about his teammates who go under double digits and basically lose the game for him, not about him being bad at the game.
Every time I start to play Halo 4 my team wins by a landslide for the first 3 matches. After that, it’s the exact opposite and no matter what I get completely screwed in every match until I stop playing and wait until the next day to find a match.
Absolutely no! Just have some patience. You will get out of the low ranks. Even if you run solo. It adds a different challenge. Basically you have to try and carry your team a few times and you’ll get up there. I am loving the ranks so I sure hope they don’t listen to you. Finally having some consistent, close matches.

So, what? Were you 350-15 before rankings came out or something? I see you’ve lost your last 6 games… If you were good enough to be 403 and 82, you ought to be good enough to overcome some rough odds (that should’ve been the only way you could’ve ever accrued such a good W/L record). I can’t believe you are on here complaining about rankings, strictly because you can’t win a game, and yet you’ve literally won 403 of your 491 games played. Get out of here. Go ruin some other franchise, please!

Have to totally agree with him! What you lose a few games so you want the ranks removed? Smh… why don’t you play some rumble pit where if you don’t get first it goes down at a loss then you can have a w/l ration as good as mine

I hate this argument people always give about having bad teammates.
Yes, it happens but if you are good yourself and here is the big one… “USE YOUR MIC AND CALL OUT” When you get to play with other players equal to or better then you, they will more than likely add you to their party. An active mic is hard enough to come across, I’ll add people for the simply fact they try calling out. I would rather lose a game, I am talking in then win a game that not a word was spoken.
If you can’t find good players it’s because you are not playing up to other players’ standards. I get invites all the time even if I am on the losing team but put up a good score and someone from the winning team invites me

This is seriously stupid. Honestly, add friends and message people that you’ve randomly played with that you think are decent players. There are so many people out there that will jump at the opportunity to run in a team with people rather than play with randoms. You just have to make the effort and pursue it.

Because when there was no ranking I was actually paired up with people of similar skill. Now I get basically a full team of people who’ve never played a Halo game before MCC while the other team is a party of 4-5. All with MICs while I’m the only one with one. And maybe one person will actually listen to my call outs or even have a clue of where the hell I’m talking about on the map. If I had such a good win/loss ratio before the rankings and now I can lose 6 straight matches because of bad team mates who can’t break double digits kills wise or spend half the game wandering around that says something right there. Rankings aren’t good for every playlist.
And how am I supposed to improve my rank to get past these low numbers when all I get are -Yoink- team mates? And I have no friends who play MCC who are any good and I don’t have a whole lot of time to play every day. So I’m not gonna play only when people are on when I am to play MCC.
I’m sure plenty of people feel the same about some of the playlists when rankings were implemented. They’re fine in some but, shouldn’t have been added to almost all of them. If you don’t go in with almost a full team, unless you get lucky, you’re getting fresh players who’ll make you lose.

I’ll entertain what you’re suggesting here one last time. You only look at this from one perspective, and that is one which suggests you shouldn’t ever lose 6 games in a row, because you never were prior to ranks. I look at your Win/Loss ratio, and clearly see that you were winning almost literally every single game you played. So, either you need to seriously go pro, or you need to recognize that competitive atmosphere means increased level of difficulty to win matches. Either you are a legitimate Halo god or this thread is as ridiculous as I continue to believe it is.
