Remove PvP challenges/Remove the cheaters so I can do them

Either make more PvE challenges to accommodate the loss or stop doing seasonal content.
I’m tired of being forced into doing PvP challenges when I have to play against PC hackers

You can turn off cross play or cross input matchmaking. It will be under your network settings. Though as someone who plays on PC, I do not see hackers enough or at all to call it a problem. Are you sure you are facing hackers? Or just high skilled players?

There are next to no hackers in MCC. I have over 1.6k hours and have only encountered hackers twice. The most common game that does face hackers though is Halo 3.

Your wish has been granted! 343i are no longer doing seasonal updates. I would also like to point out that nobody is forcing you to do the PvP challenges except from yourself.

What exactly is being “forced” here? If you don’t want to do PvP, then just don’t do it. There are 11 other season point challenges.

You’re only forcing yourself to do the PvP challenges, just don’t do them it’s that simple

May I ask what PvP challenges you’re struggling with?

I seem to be able to knock them out in an hour or so (and an hour for the PvE challenges) so I may be able to offer tips.

Talking about the massive season challenges where you have to do PvP and do things like get 500 headshots and 200 multikill medals. The headshots are just annoying to do and multikills are just a ball ache. The usual challenges I give a thought about are mainly just finishing the 7 do these games and 3 wins. Podium is a given if it’s a team game. Staying alive is easy is you’re a coward. And I don’t care about the others. But it’s the seasonal challenges like getting a competitive rank of 15 that I’m angry about. Not the weekly ones.

Both of these challenges should come pretty naturally as long as you dedicate a sufficient amount of time playing the game.

The intention with the seasonal challenges is probably also that these challenges shouldn’t be completed within the first day or week. A more reasonable guess is that the challenges are designed to be completed within 8 weeks as the shortest MCC Season has been 8 weeks (Season 3).

So, first off, you just gotta know which gamemodes to play to earn the seasonal challenges effeciently. My friends and I all completed all the seasonals for S8 within two weeks of the season dropping- it’s not like we live on the game, we just play a couple of hours together before bed after work every night or so. Need headshots? You can knock that out in about 4 hours just by playing some 4 or 2A SWAT (3 works too but only battle rifle kills work for the challenge and 3 can put you in stuff like recon SWAT where you don’t have that weapon). Want multikills? SWAT works well for that too, but I prefer playing some big team heavies, because if you destroy a vehicle with multiple people in it at the same time, thats a guarenteed multikill right there, and you can get points towards Beast Mode as well if you’re riding in a Warthog.

The one for reaching comp level 15 was season 4, they haven’t done any rank-based challenges in like 4 seasons, so I don’t understand why you’re digging that back up to back up a point. There was one last season and the season before last for winning 15 or so comp matches, but that was far easier, because your level didn’t matter whatsoever. This season, there’s nothing of the sort there, period, unless you count weekly sweat equity, but that’s only 2 wins, and is pretty easy to get if you play some basic 3 Team Slayer (that one’s by far the most populated comp playlist, so there’s the most options for it to pit you against people that are around your comp level).

It’s not about being an amazing player really- my friends and I are just some mid-tier college dudes, it’s just about thinking about the challenge and putting yourself into gamemodes that will be efficient for earning it. If you’re playing Reach Slayer, of course you aren’t going to earn anything for the Battle Rifle headshot challenge. If you’re doing 3 King of the Hill, of course it’s going to be hard to earn multikills. If you’re doing 4 SWAT, you’re not gonna earn anything for Warthog gunner kills. Go out of your way to play matches and gamemodes that will earn you what you need. It’s all about challenge optimization, my dude.

I can count on 1 finger the amount of “hackers” that I have experienced since PC cross-play went live. I do not think that it is an issue.
