Before some of you hate on this, I know Halo has always been a PvP game and can be enjoyed by many in PvP by how it is. But some of us prefer NOT to be trash talked and prefer to have a great time at out own pace, playing vs Ai for example. I’m a very good competitive player who always does the objective, but even I want to enjoy the game and not be forced to stress over a losing team, spawn trapped (older games), trash talked to by same team and opponents.
Take SMITE for example, it has challenges based on PvP so I am forced to go over to PvP and IF my team is losing, my teammates talk trash to the worst player and that is in no way fun. But the vs Ai side to it is relaxing and fun and you can enjoy the game as is. Last but not least, before you try to disagree with this some more by saying they will have social playlists, that’s great and all, but i’ll just say this. Why limit the player who is playing your game by forcing them to do something they don’t want to do? Reach (360) had the dumb CR limit lock, but at least that game I can earn CR/EXP by playing whatever I feel like.
