I really wish they would remove the hidden player skill rating as a means to match people when it’s not competitive gametypes. I’m not saying i’m the best but I’m a pretty good halo player who has been playing since CE first came out. My problem though is sometimes I don’t want to have these nail biting, stress inducing, best of the best games EVERY TIME I PLAY MULTIPLAYER.
Sometimes I just want to have a casual game in warzone or BTB where I’m not being matched against every player that knows the exact boost angle to hit every ledge, or perfect teams working together to double tap people with BR’s. I understand some people may take this as me just saying I want to stomp on new players all the time ,but it’s not.
I definitely have times I want to have competitive match making, but when it’s every game mode, it’s just a stress inducing experience every single time. I hope in at least infinite they have modes that are totally random, without matching on player skill.
