Remove Pistol Gametypes in Halo 3 SWAT

I can’t take it anymore. I have played back to back to back Swatnums or Recon Swat in Halo 3. Every game someone quits and I can’t blame them. I’d be fine if it were a once and a while thing, but I haven’t played SWAT with BR’s in weeks. I don’t even put Halo 3 on my matchmaking filter anymore because even with other games and gametypes I’ll most likely get Swatnums.

Can the SWAT gametype just stick to SWAT instead of these terrible alts? Neither pistol is as good or fun as the BR, but the magnum in H3 is the worst in the series. Please. For the love of god. I want to play Halo 3 SWAT again.

That’s got to be a slight exaggeration, surely. I played three games of Halo 3 SWAT yesterday and only got Recon SWAT once; the other two times were BR starts.

Speaking as someone who likes Recon SWAT, the gametypes don’t need to be removed, in my opinion, just weighted differently.

I think it’s basically just a 1 in 3 chance for any of them though.

And I really wish they just kept the Automag from the ODST campaign with the fast rate of fire and recoil.

I played Recon SWAT for the first time recently and loved it. Interesting that you prefer regular SWAT.
