I consider Overgrowth a map for campers. It is not competitive and should not be introduced into the arena; but only in the Holiday Social.
There are too many Power Weapons.
It is not balanced for the two teams

No way overgrowth is one of the best maps out for gameplay and beauty. It’s nice to have a right corridor map for a change instead of open sight lines in every map.

Maybe okay in Breakout; but in other ways it is not competitive in my opinion.
It’s balanced if you play as a team and back each other up.
However as most Slayer games are unbalanced I can see your point.
I can hold my own on this map. I just don’t run around like a loon.
I just follow a team mate, so I don’t get caught out and be aware that there could be someone with the Sword around that corner.
Worst map ever
Why is everyone concerned with the competitive side of things with this game? I think enough of the maps/ the game for that matter was made for the competitive shooter…it’s a nice change of pace from everyone BR’n and magnum’n you to death.

I enjoy Overgrowth, and would not want to see it removed. It’s a nice redone version of Plaza, and a perfect example of how a remix should look at play.

I’d have to play it more to get a better idea. I’ve only played on it twice and it was slayer both times. I LOVE the look of it but am still undecided on the flow of it.
I am good at the map, but still think that it’s a terrible map. Weapon positioning could change my opinion though. Shotgun right next to invis. Sword should be where rail is and no rail.
Great map move fast hit hard.
It’s a new map. People are predisposed to play cautiously. I find it to be fun as hell. Lots of trick jumps that can be used. I basically held the sprint button the whole game jumping around with my sword and flanking people.
With how close-quarters it is, I think the map would be better without the sword due to how easy it is to rush with in there. The shotguns are fine. Otherwise I like the map.
I personally think this is the best map in the game so far… it kinda reminds me of lockout
