There are instances of people using words like MFer or term for female dog while committing violent crime against others. Why would those words be okay in trash talking but racial slurs somehow cross a line? They are all words. They can annoy you, they can bother you, but they can’t hurt you.

But that’s not intrinsically linked to hate crimes.
This thread was not intended to discuss/debate the morality of slurs / language.
343 already has a stance that typing these things in game is a bannable / actionable offense.
Yet people can do it ad nauseum and seemingly nothing happens.
Best option is to just let people have their own editable blocklist.
Would be able to cover any variation a person sees that way and not affect those using other languages.
