Most of the strategy in snipers revolves around keeping your opponents guessing at your location. Having a video show the person you just killed exactly where you are -assuming he knows the map- is definitely not cool. Personally, I’d prefer no killcams period as this importance-of-location principle applies to all game-types to some extent, but particularly snipers needs to have killcams removed.
Final killcams, postgame, are cool and fine, no problems with those since they don’t have the potential to effect gameplay.
@telechubby: People complain about camping all the time like its cheating. It’s an effective strategy in moderation, but you cannot win a game camping the whole time. Noob tactic. If I am applying effective area monitoring techniques (advanced camping) to have a camera give my position is like punishing me for good gaming skills.

Totally disagree. This is an arcade game, there is no space for campers. Killcam is useless in general, but at least shows you if the other player was skilled or just had luck. It changes nothing for the sniper, you can see perfectly the shoot so to understand where is the sniper.
although i still have trust in 343, some of their choices they make just completely blows my mind but a killcam in team snipers that makes no freaking sense!.
The killcam is more or less a non-issue. I can’t remember the last time I got sniped and had no clue where the bullet came from. You’ll always know the general area of where a shot originated anyway.
Camping is what makes snipers possible to use, and makes them balanced in halo 4. Anyone who says ‘camping is for noobs’ are CLEARLY so good at sniping that they can run around and noscope for an entire match.
Or they just are annoyed and unreasonable because a sniper kept killing them effectively.

Being hidden? with a bullet that makes a perfectly visible line everytime you shoot? Come on, it’s like asking to turn off the light in a room becouse it’s too bright when there is no roof and the sun over you.
In general the sniper can’t be hidden in Halo as it’s made to avoid campers sniping from a corner where noone finds them. The killcam anyway shows nothing, how could you understand the sniper position if what you see in the replay is the scope pointing at you and headshotting?
Maybe many of you just don’t like the “idea” of the killcam and want it to be removed, but you should think what it really does.
