Remove K/D stats from Grifball?

I’d be much more inclined to play Grifball if it didn’t murder my KD.

No one cares about your K/D

I usually go positive on Grifball, but the only thing that worries me is the accidental betrayals.

i would enjoy this

that’s funny since many use it to buff their kd

i would play it more if they did that

agreed, betrayals are more of an issue in Grifball in my opinion rather thatn K/D’s

Definitely. I think that if betrayals didn’t exist in Grifball, you’d have teammates launching each other non-stop… which might change the game quite a bit. (Would be pretty hilarious though…)

Yea, the spawn killing is a little ridiculous…

You are correct. But I care about my K/D.

Let’s 1v1 and I’ll show you that your K/D means nothing

Everyone’s kill to death ratio is irrelevant. Doesn’t matter if one playlist does or does not effect it. Keeping it may let the community begin to see that the gaming world does not revolve around it.

You’re still killing and still dying. It’s part of the game. Why remove the stats? If you are trying to compare it to real sports it’d be like taking assists out of basketball or tackles out of american football. It’s part of the game. You score higher by the more kills you have and the more goals you score. The better you are at doing the two the more games you are going to win. Just play it more and figure out some new strategies. If you are having a -Yoink- K/D over the course of a few games, try doing something else. Suck with the sword? Use the damn hammer. Suck with the hammer? Guess what, you have a sword to use that doesn’t run out. Use your thrusters smart and even consider spartan charging since that’s a new element for Halo 5. Keep getting booted for killing your own teammates with the hammer? Space it out more. If your teammate is running at the same pace just a little ahead of you, go left or right away from him for a few steps then go back toward the target. Chances are he will die first or weaken someone and you can smash in there without being on top of him.

No, the K/D should not be removed from any part of the game.

More stats is always better. If you don’t like the K/D stat for grifball, then simply don’t pay attention to it yourself. Others, like me, like having as much stats to view as possible.

Your top CSR is Grifball… I can see why you’re adamant about keeping the stats. Technique in Grifball wasn’t in question, but you offer some pretty good tips. Thanks!

Agreed wholeheartedly. What I meant (and this wasn’t clear to begin with, bad phrasing on my part) was that the stats shouldn’t factor to your overall KD on the Arena playlist. I feel the same with the Social playlists as well. Of course I want to see how many times I killed / got killed post-game. Many stats are still missing post-game - you have to come here on waypoint to get a full breakdown which is kinda schwag.

Hah, sure? I’d love to mop the floor with your Achilles armor. As long as we’re not playing Grifball.

Overall, seems the crowd has spoken in the polls.

It would also discourage spawn killing

R.I.P Kd

It just goes to prove that K/D doesn’t matter.

Why? If you really care that much about your KD than don’t play Grifball lol.

heck no I wanna see how well I did

Oh. In that case, I agree. I think social playlists’ K/D should be separate from Arena K/D.
