I just made a topic about 15 minutes ago about being banned for 24 hours in warzone. It got locked like as soon as I went to check the responses. If you wanna read the original problem, go read the original post. The point I wanted to make with that post was that Im sick of joining into games in warzone where there is no hope of winning, no one likes to join into losing games, so please just disable join in progress, I want to start games fresh where both teams start from 0 points. And also, 24 hours? really? And I’m not a bad sport, I only quit games when I join in progress to see an unwinnable game, I never quit games that just started.
No. Warzone is a social gametype. If you join a losing game just stick it out. You won’t be negatively affected from losing, and if you care about your k/d, play a ranked playlist.

You are acting like I quit after playing for 15 minutes, I quit as soon as I join and see the enemy team has total control and is up like 300-500 points.

Like he said its a social playlist so it will always have JIP even if you join a game mid game you’re still getting like 1890 or so REQ points for not even being in the game the whole time
You do realize that removing join in progress will make your problem WORSE right?
People quit Warzone often, every game you get into you’d wind up with quitters and get steamrolled.
This is a TERRIBLE idea.

I don’t get why just because something is social means it has to have JIP, NO ONE likes to join into a unwinnable game, and it’s either sit through your team getting slaughtered or get banned? What kind of sense is that? There is no positive to JIP.

No. It’s free REQ points from a game you only had to be in for a few minutes.

Ok, this is the first good response I have heard, this has beaten my suggestion, but banning me for 24 hours? That is ridiculous, nothing more then an hour is fine, banning me for 24 hours just makes me want to return the game, the ban rules need to be less strict in a social playlist.

The point of the game is to have fun, I don’t care about req points, I just wanna play full games of warzone.
WOW are you serious OP. warzone is a casual playlist so it should have JIP i honestly wouldnt mind JIP in arena seeing as lots of people on my team quit in arena

The negative is so massive, that it would render Warzone unplayable if join in progress was removed. The negative is that if a 4 or 5 people leave from one side, the game would end up being so uneven, with no chance of recouping (via join in progress), that playing the game becomes increasingly frustrating.
At least we are rewarded for joining midway through a game by an equal share of req points as though we played from the start!
But then if allies quit your team will be outnumbered the whole game.

Just remove JIP when any kind of BOOST is enabled

iy is ridiculous but quitters are also a big problem so thats where the ban system comes in yea people have gotten bans for no reason not even quitting games at all(i think) i havent gotten an undeserved ban yet
That is a horrible idea. The game would be empty in a matter of minutes with the rate people quit from Warzone.

Well when you look at how many games I have completed (508) and you consider that I quit games back to back, since I often get placed in games that are unwinnable and I won’t have any fun in play, I think 300< is what I expect it to be at. Just agree a 24 hour ban in a social playlist is nonsense.
