Remove instant spawning from slayer!

Having instant spawning in slayer games is the worst Idea you could possibly have. You kill someone they spawn back instantly and come kill you. There is no break in the fighting like all the CLASSIC halo games had. All it does it make you run out there and hope you get a kill, removing all form of tactics from gameplay. This isn’t Call of Duty.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s awful.

As much as people may hate to hear it, its very COD like.

You die, you spawn, you sprint, you kill the guy, he does the same back… and repeat for the rest of the match.

I have a question. Does killcam not work in BTB, or am i glitched? Because sometimes i die and wish it would work because i am unsure what killed me.

The game is so much faster now. Is that why Slayer Pro is to 60 kills?

Don’t get me wrong I think everything else is great, but I just have a problem with instant respawning. I think that Sprinting is a great idea, but not combined with instant respawning.

Run, Kill, Die and Repeat. theres barley enough time to use your AA to talk to your teammates to control an area. this is to fast

i agree, check my file…oh wait you cant, its not up yet…anyways ive a video show exactly how bad insta spawns are. not only do people get to spawn before you get a tiny breather, but they pawn right near you or in front of you or a few feet behind you and insta assassinate you or worse fro them they re spawn in groups of three near a guy with a rocket launcher multiple times all in a row.

at first i thought the spawn system was broken or bugged; but really its that damn insta spawn. boot it…IT BREAKS THE SPAWN SYSTEM!!! an ya Ive proof of it, though it is in video form in my “file share”

Yeah I have no problem with sprint. I think sprint was a great addition.

I personally enjoy the insta-respawn because some people would go right back where they died to try to kill me again only to get clam-stomped again by me.

no damn kidding, and its even worse combined with the fact that it re spawns people to close to enemy players! seriously this needs fixing ASAP. going on a spree is inanely hard; even met a few try hards who said as much as well.

To be honest I’m okay with the instant respawning in Slayer. It keeps the game going at a faster pace and speeds up the killing of the bad guys, which is the entire point of the game.

For objective games instant respawn is a terrible thing though.

I’ve been killed by someone and have been able to respawn fast enough to kill them before their shields have gone back up.

On a more serious note. Instant respawning is one of the worst things that can happen in halo. I especially don’t like when i’m still recharging my shields from my last encounter, and around the corner comes the same goon that i just dealt with. If you are going to have instant spawns, at least make you shields recharge faster. Inb4 regen field and shielding perk.
