Hemorrage ruins Team Snipers. First, it’s an atrocious 4v4 map. Second, there’s very little cover, meaning you get sniped across the entire map constantly with no chance to defend yourself. Map movement is dead, and camping your side of the map is the only alternative. If you want to sit back and pick off targets from across the map, play Battlefield. Halo sniping is a mix of short, medium, and long range, not just extreme long range.
OP speaks the truth. I might just be saying that because I consistently embarrass myself on that map by dropping double digit negatives, but I still think that it’s true .

That’s because you get sniped all game across the map by people you can’t even see. No skill involved there. Snipers is supposed to be a test of skill, not camping.
I agree and in my opinion the greatest example of a sniper map that works in Reach is Highlands. It’s probably in my top 5 sniper maps of all time. Hemorrhage on the other hand is terrible for every reason the OP said.
Completely agree with you OP. I hope 343i listen to the community and AT LEAST add more maps to the playlists. Maps such as Asylum, Countdown, Zealot and Pinnacle would work really well. I’m not sure why Bungie took Pinnacle out in the first place?
I’d be content with that because it would lessen the chances of Hemorrhage but I do agree it’s a horrible map. Especially for the Blue team, at least Red team have a teleporter from their base which allows them easy access to the other side of the map with that hill for cover.
Best case scenario: 343i remove Hemorrhage and add the above maps.
Worst case scenario: they leave Team Snipers alone 
I totally agree with you. On Hemorrhage, the only way ppl play the map is to camp. It annoys me seeing only to very top of ppl’s heads. Personally, I like medium sized maps or smaller maps for snipers and think they work really well. Take Halo 3 for instance. The only map ppl really camp on is Sandtrap, and even then there is more map movement.

But on a serious note, I agree Hemorrhage should be removed from team snipers.
I think what needs to be done to Hemmys is another structure in the middle of the map or maybe actually building bases on the corners of the level( The hill on red side with no cover and the hill on the blue side that has no trees.) Just an idea of course but I agree with the OP,most people just sit in one spot and not try to advance and spawn trap.
Hemorrhage is actually one of the better Sniper maps in the game. It’s actually…a big open map with Sniper spots.
Man people just don’t remember what a Sniper gametype is really all about.

I think a modified version of Hemorrhage built specifically for Snipers would could make it the best map in the playlist. The main goal of the map would be to allow map movement across that wide open middle area.
Tbh it would work better if all the spawns were just random. That way camping would be negated. That’s what made Sand Trap just about playable in H3. You could camp at one side of the map but others may spawn near to you whereas in Hemorrhage, you always spawn at one side of the map.

The sniper is a long range weapon…in generic FPS’s. Halo is different. Halo sniping is a mix of hard-scoping and no-scoping, not either or. Maps that are too small eliminate the long range aspect of sniping, while maps that are too large eliminate the short range aspect of sniping. There’s needs to be a balance. Hemorrage doesn’t have that.

I agree with OP. I hate hemmorage. It’s so unsided for Blue.
