Need I even say more? I have literally had grenades chase me down hallways before. This was a really stupid audition to the gameplay nobody asked for. Let players learn to toss better nades.
Good players are already tossing great nades. Last thing they need is a handicap on top of it.

Yes. There is a slight homing in mechanic on grenades now and I could never put my finger on it until somebody asked Lucid on stream what his biggest gripe with gameplay is.
He talked about how grenades do in fact have a slight home in on enemy players and that people tossing 2 nades at the ground should never beat a player 2 shots up on somebody.
After he talked about it I understood why everybody has god nades. I would be sitting getting my shields back, and I LITERALLY would hear a random grenade bounce around for a legit 7 seconds before landing on me and blowing up. Grenades I know for a fact were random and not intended for me.
It’s a really annoying add on that has no reason to exist
You mean players that throw grenades at you, the ones that don’t bounce, actually are thrown with arcs made by the players so that they will likely bounce towards you when you throw them?
Because when I throw grenades, it is a bit hit-or-miss that my toss actually results in it bouncing towards them successfully or that it bounces off-kilter and doesn’t change direction enough to hit the mark and blow up the guy I am actively fighting.
There is a difference between a good nade, and a nade legit bouncing around a hallway for 5 seconds chasing you down. I have had it happen so many times it’s mind numbing.
Dunno what you are experiencing then.
Most of the times I die to nades is when the enemy spams four or more at my general area to bathe me with splash damage.
Not sure what point you’re trying to make. Are you defending the homing mechanic or just trying to question my gripes with the mechanic?
I’m not detecting any homing mechanic is what I am saying.
Like for example, in Halo 4 the bullet magnetism was turned up so high that SWAT was easily won with the magnum… at range compared to a DMR or BR player.
I hate auto-homing assistance.
I have yet to experience it though with grenades, whether giving or receiving it.

There is 100% grenade bounce magnetism in this game and it’s awful. It needs to go ASAP.
Halo is constantly on the edge of being too much of a nade fest. Grenade magnetism exacerbates the issue

343 Staff? If they aren’t community reps, I doubt Lucid gets in contact with the actual devs or higher-ups.
If there is a homing bounce, it definitely needs to go.
Hopefully, knowing 343, it is a bug.
I could see the Dynamo Grenades being ones that follow you, and that there might be a bug that allows for Frags to follow you.
In which case, 343 should focus on fixing this.
I could never put my finger on it but when a nade legit rolls 10 feet on the ground towards me and blew up I wanted to toss my monitor out the window. hahaha
Happen to have any video proof? Because I’ve personally never seen this happen.
I’m not denying this. I just need to see it myself before I can fully believe it, and this is the first I hear about it.
