Remove From Custom Games Option

Why was the option to kick people removed? Who’s stupid Idea was it?? A lot of game modes on Halo have certain rules some people don’t follow. So the response is to kick them. I just had a group of people join my custom game and ruin it. But nooo, I can’t remove them unless I end the game.

It’s never been in H5. Players ruining games in the browser is happening a lot lately. The only thing you can really do is block/report and kick them from the game afterwards. If they are kicked, they cannot rejoin unless invited by the host, so at least there’s that

I know it was never added in. I’m saying basically why was it removed from this Halo game in general.

Here’s a vid from Turbtastic, something 343i has seen and acknowledged. Way back from 2016. This issue has been covered to death, unfortunately. It would seem as if most people either quit the game in order to avoid having to deal with these issues (we’ve lost a lot of our quality content creators due to 343i’s failure to provide a wide variety of features for Custom Games and Forge that were available in previous games), or just accept the frustration that comes with hosting Custom Games in H5. I still host regularly, so I certainly understand where you’re coming from. It’s just that there aren’t that many of us. Most people are just players, and have no idea how frustrating it is to create, test, and host content for those only-players.

I didn’t even know you couldn’t kick people from custom games… I don’t play them much but I definetly see how annoying this can be.

Yeah. On Halo Reach people played Teacher or Cops N Robbers, which the leader would ask everyone to go to game chat so the cops/teachers could tell the students/prisoners what to do. And if someone decided to break the rules while the game was in session the leader would boot them. Halo 5 doesn’t have this feature which is really sad.
