No, Exile is a fun map to play, and if you die in middle, that means you lack the common sense to get your -Yoink- a secondary base, or scout enemy and get turrets up if you see them rushing. All maps are good.
I didn’t even think there would be a reason to complain about a map in halo wars.
If you hate the color palette, oh well. If you can’t defend yourself and use simple defensive tactics when spawning in the middle, that is your fault. Not the maps.
Exile is one of my favorite maps to play. Oh, and I’m usually spawning in the middle.
I never see anyone quit because the word Exile appeared in the top left hand corner.
They usually quit after I defeat them.
343i have plenty to do with Halo 4 at this point in time. The community has (in person mind you) talked to Frankie O’Connor about a Halo Wars 2. He said he agreed that the game was a great way to expand the Halo universe (or something along those lines) however, due to there first and more Core game being just released, they are focusing their attention on that for the time being.
Personally, I hope they keep up the work on Halo 4. I have several disappointments for its Forge aspect, but Spartan Ops gets better an better.
Halo Wars 2 will come around, and there will be really cool maps, and the occasional really controversially cool map with a flood like environment.
Never judge a map by its color. Exile has some of the coolest strategies implemented in that game.

Disagree with this mostly
Why should you be penalised 500 resources and the time it takes to build a base, if you pull the bad spawn? If it was a 1v1 or maybe even a 2v2 map, I’d agree with the turrets, but you simply can’t beat two covenant leaders rushing your base on exile.
I had a game today where i pulled middle base, I had 2 turrets up and a thrid building, when both covvie leaders walk over (About 2 mins in), start porting in brutes/honour guards/banshees. My teammates tried to help me, but they couldn’t do much since the leader powers killed their jackals and my turrets.
It’s just way to easy to rush as a covenant on that map, especially with the reactors and the ease of getting them with a covvie leader.
Other than that problem, its a good map if its UNSC only or just one covvie a side, lots of different startegies and tactics to use on the map

On the topic of Halo 4, Spartan Ops is okay, its just exactly the same if you play it again, at least firefight had some variety to it.
Matchmaking though is horrible at the moment, mostly because of lag and boltshotting noobs… Seriously, it has a longer range than the shotty…
