I’m sure it has been discussed but when I sit down for some MM and start searching i don’t want to be placed into a game where the team I end up on is already down 10 kills. I just want a fresh new match to start…like in every other Halo game, too much to ask for?
For ranked games (when the trueskill system comes out), I’d agree with you.
For social playlists like Infinity Slayer, Regicide, The Flood etc… I’d disagree.
The feature was added so players can drop right into the action and games aren’t left with one or two people per team, playing it out til the end. A game is more fun when the game is full, this system fills the games.
If you want to connect to a game lobby, I’d suggest going in to playlists like Infinity Slayer with a party of 4. It’s not as likely to put you into an ongoing game.
It’s a good feature to have, and all other games have this feature (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Blacklight: Tango Down… to name a few off the top of my head), so why can’t Halo 4?
I say keep it in, even for ranked games. I’m sick of always being at a disadvantage because 2 or 3 people quit the moment the enemy team gets any sort of lead.
