Yes, I hate ADS too. But you can change controller schemes you know, why don’t you do that?
You do realize that some people are used to the left trigger to zoom because they come from other games right?
I play Lefty default and clicking to zoom on the Left or right thumb stick doesn’t feel right for me.
What’s the point of removing a control scheme just because it’s from another game? Titanfall had bumper jumper, as far as I remember? This only makes the game more accessible for new players. Plus, it isn’t even ads. It’s still click to zoom even on the trigger.
So much stubborn in the forums, a beta is for testing bugs and glitches, to improve the already worked upon assets and look for game shattering faults, so stop whinging about the control scheme and sprinting and ADS, it’s not changing any time soon, 343 is making their “OWN” game, not remaking halo 3 or even reach. It’s not going to happen, let go and enjoy the bloody beta
To ask for the removal of a control scheme because it exists in another game is ridiculous
To disregard the fact that you can change your control scheme in the first place is outstandingly disappointing
So… halo, even CE, is not original. It copied marathon. stop complaining about who copied what from where and judge it simply on if it works.
but if you don’t like the default controller layout there are others. try the “recon” or “halo 4” layouts for a more ‘traditionally default’ layout, or bumper jumper if you’re that way inclined, like me, but the h5g default layout isn’t CoD… fishstick is.
all that being said the easiest solution would be to have set layouts like we do, but also an option for custom layouts so people can put what they want, where they want.

Idiotic topic. Its a control scheme, far more important issues to address. Don’t like it? Don’t use it. It barely works in this game anyway, let people who use ‘CoD’ controls/used to that vontrol setup transition to a better control scheme.

It doesn’t effect me personally because I use bumper jumper.
However…it just…doesn’t ‘‘look’’ right to me…I don’t know why

Not stubborn; more like ignorant fools that understand nothing about how much money & time a simple piece of coding such as sprint costs.
Whatever’s in the game won’t be changed; maybe a tiny tweak, but theyre not going to rewrite a whole piece of coding.

But… it’s not even the default control scheme. I think you’re getting angry at the wrong things. The game plays more like CoD, but that isn’t because there is an option to select left trigger zoom.

Just change you control scheme to recon or halo 4 if you want the original controls back so bad.
