Im okay with overshield being in last spartan standing, but camo needs to be taken out. It’s bad enough I get shot from behind 90 percent of the match, but i also have to worry about someone being invisible too.
Last match me and the final guy had 2 lives left each and he camo the whole time, and I couldn’t find him only for him to sneak up on me every time

Not to mention they make no sound while camo so you can’t even hear them out.
I think the camo/OS drops should be reduced in general. They seem to be in abundance througout the entire game. As people start getting eliminated, the drops should decrease. People are popping OS and carrying around another. In a 1v1 battle, these power ups seem to be the deal breaker.
Also you can activate OS and camo will still put you fully invisible. Then carry a 3rd power up on top of that.

Camo’s not as invisible as people make it out to be. I get shot up if I don’t take it too careful when trying to sneak up on players.
Maybe they can tone down the frequency of drops towards the end perhaps.
I think the major problem is Power-Ups drop in little green pods at seemingly random times. They need to be more limited or at least be highlighted so players can fight over them. They could be the “Hot Spots” or whatever on the map. Maybe even have some low ammo Power Weapons drop this way too.
The last match I was just in, the final four players kept getting OS or Camo, it was actually really freaking ridiculous.
Yea it was basically raining drops in my games. Not sure if theres drops at beginning as well, but someone got os within 20 seconds of one of my games. I hadn’t seen an os near where we were fighting in the previous matches either.

The biggest problem IMO is that the powerups are “pocketable” and can be held onto and spammed whenever a player needs a convenient out. That, in conjunction with how awful many of them there are, leads to a lot of frustrating situations where someone just uses a powerup to get themself out of a tight spot (or take advantage of camping in a tight spot invisibly…)
The gametype encourages camping and spamming these powerups, which makes it a lot less fun than I think it could be. Reducing the frequency of the powerups would probably help, and I don’t dislike the idea of the camo being removed altogether either. It doesn’t make players entirely invisible, sure. But it’s more than enough to make corner camping into a sure thing for nabbing some kills.
I meant to try this last game. But can you have active camo and over heal at the same time, or does it come with side effects?
I’m not sure what the answer is, but I do think camo in LSS needs some sort of nerf. A huge number of my games have been decided by camo.
The answer could be something indirect, like adding the threat sensor to drop pods.
That would mean more threat sensors available to counter camo. Maybe in LSS the threat sensor should get a big radius too
Honestly I just hate LSS and how it’s designed. Should just port gungame/escalation slayer 1 to 1 over.
Spawning with the Sidekick is already a great deal and lethal in the hands of a skilled player, allowing them to camp on it till they can level up to BR is just a real unfun experience.
I’d rather they port MCC’s Reach Gungame custom over, where you go through all the weapons ranging from strongest power weapons to the weakest melee weapon, backsmacks and plasma sticks demote players.
Camo and OS should both be either reduced or taken out completely. Its ridiculous how many people grt it at once. I don’t understand why its like this if previous gamemodes it wasn’t
