Remove Blackeye Skull from Mythic WZFF?

I’m torn on this.

I think Mythic should be difficult (and it certainly is) - but difficult in what sense? I mean, I’ve beat a couple Mythic rounds and I do enjoy the challenge, but at times it’s verges on the unfair. Maybe this is personal, since I never used Blackeye on classic Halo campaign runs back in the day. It does hamper vehicle usage, which is a good thing (as vehicles are really overused in WZFF). Still, sometimes it’s just too much.

I don’t know, what does everyone else think?

Keep it, but move it to round 4 or something - it’s too harsh for round 2.

Yeah I think that would be a solution. Especially with ‘defend the generator’ on ARC being round 2…

Blackeye should be for rounds 3 and 4 only, round 5 it’s IMPOSSIBLE to kill mythic bosses with the skull activated. Rounds 1 and 2 would just be unfair, WZFFM needs some major fine tuning.

I’ve been saying this since Mythic Warzone dropped. The Black Eye skull puts the “Mythic” in Mythic Warzone Firefight. It makes Protect/Defend objectives near impossible. Cuz I mean, in a game type that throws hundreds and hundreds of enemies at you at once, it’s kind of pointless trying to punch one to get your shields back. Said hundreds of enemies will be shooting at you while you try and punch something, so your shield won’t have time to recharge. You’re a dead man no matter what.

Honestly, I get Mythic Firefight is supposed to be one of the biggest PvE challenges we’ve seen, but Blackeye is such overkill, seriously the enemies already kill us fast enough with shields. I advocate removing it, but if it has to stay in some form, change it to melee an enemy for instant shield recharge, or wait an extended amount of time for your shields to recharge, like 20 or 30 seconds.

I feel as though it should only be exclusive to rounds 3 and 4, and turned off in round 5 to make the game fair. Nobody in gonna use hard earned REQs in MFF if they get one-shot by crawlers. Or at the very least make it so blackeye doesn’t effect vehicles.

I don’t think it should be turned off because it does make it more of a challenge, but it definitely does need to be moved to round 3 or 4. Round 2 is a bit overkill.
