it adds nothing but annoyance… why was it changed from beta? Aiming was fine it did not have this crap. I’m not going to ramp my sensitivity up just to avoid it and use less stick… Why was this crap added
it was added to have a more concentrated shot. if you keep your stick mostly in the middle while following a target it should be fine. the accelaration kicks in after the stick has gone to far which is ment for you to quickly snap to another target. just get used to it bro. its not that hard. infact theres more skill involved because of it. its annoying just cuz your not used to it simple

Lol mostly in the middle. You mean right in the deadzones? The deadzones and acceleration have annihilated my fine aiming. It needs to go.

This is the crux of the issue for me - the aiming is sluggish for small movements due to the deadzones so I push further on the sticks, but then the acceleration kicks in quite noticeably and I overcompensate.
The thing that baffles is me is that they held an extensive beta and from what I understand (having not played the beta myself) these issues were non-existent then. If they aiming was fine for everyone, why change it after testing when nobody is asking for it? I love so much about Halo 5, but wrestling with the controls dampens the whole experience. In all other Halos the controls would never even be on my mind, here it feels like a barrier between me and the game. I love pretty much all of the gameplay changes they’ve made for Halo 5 (armor abilities, clamber etc), but changing something as fundamental as the aiming so significantly seems odd since it means if you want to play MCC then Halo 5 you’re going to be constantly adjusting how you aim.

So screwing with the aiming raises the skill level? lol nope I’ll wait til it gets patched out before i play more of this game. Dead zones are not cool, me having to jack up my sensativity for one game to make it not happen is not cool. I don’t want sensativity 12 at all when I play halo…
