Why is this system being wiped from halo waypoint?
Why are spartan companies being removed, I made a 100 man group to get ready for Halo Infinite, and now that work is all for moot?
Is anybody else frustrated at this rediculous decision?
My guess is they don’t have a “purpose” anymore. Spartan companies were tightly linked to group commendations which don’t exist anymore, it also meant if you weren’t apart of one of these companies, which to be honest if your a solo player can be hard to join since some of them had ridiculous requirements to join and if you want to start your own with your friends you really aren’t going to make any meaningful progress towards commendations or the armor.
I’d rather see them introduce something like “Spartan Units” a small group of something like 2-12 players that you can do fun little group things with. Maybe monthly xp challenges you all contribute too. Maybe making your own Banner similar to how Destiny 2 is.

It was a great tool to gather like minded players, My group was made specically to have chill players without fun police and crazy rules. I made the group to get unlocks with others, and after leaving us in the dark, 343 gives us only a few weeks notice that this feature is being removed.
I dont think it was working the way they intended it to be I guess… 99% of the reason people joined was to get the Achilles armour.
