So apparently one of the infection maps, “Malignant” is a remix of Overgrowth which is a remix of Plaza.
There is also “Nerve Center” which is another remix of Plaza. So we’ll have two remixes of Plaza and one remix of a remix.
Has it gone too far?
No, it needs to go deeper…screw original maps, screw varied environments…

The remixes of remixes will probably be infection exclusive. I’m quite surprised they are putting effort into making the dev made maps infection friendly. I can’t wait to play on infected plaza. I hope they add infected models as well, that would really set the atmosphere.
Those maps are just slightly modified for infection which I think is fine, similar to what Halo Reach had (e.g. Swordbase => Spooky Base, Uncaged => Uncongealed).
As for the Torque remix ‘Stasis’… I’m disappointed that we didn’t get a remake of a Halo Reach map.
Ok no offense but how stupid can people be. They are not remixes, they are forged on. They are the same maps that have been forged on to have different layout. I don’t know how you guys don’t see this when you look at the pictures. They are VERY clearly forge edited. They are NOT completely different maps.
