I have seen forum posts dating back to last year that have complained about the same issue. I have a brand new Xbox One X (so don’t tell me about cleaning my console or uninstalling games) and the Halo CE Anniversary as well as Halo 2 Anniversary campaigns are simply unplayable due to frame rate drops. I don’t have exact figures but it definitely feels as if it’s below 30 fps. This happens in nearly every situation, not just in large or enemy dense levels. THE CAMPAIGN IS SIMPLY UNPLAYABLE IN ANNIVERSARY MODE.
How can Microsoft market the Xbox One X so heavily and yet their flagship franchise plays like crap on it? Imagine a first time Xbox gamer jumping into Halo for the first time and this is what they experience. 343 please fix this so we can properly enjoy the game!
