Having goals to work towards is what keeps the player invested. This $20 armor set -Yoink!- is borderline criminal and doesn’t make a player want to progress and get better at the game. This game is going to die in a few months because of this psychopathic marketing strategy…

Remember when you had to pay for the game? It’s day one, you could never customise a Spartan to look cool on the first day. You can get free armour every week from the capstone, a few periodically from the free pass, armour from the events and fractures (all free) and if you’re planning on getting the campaign that’ll give you armour as well l.

I dont think it’s an issue of how. Its an issue of content theres hardly anything to unlock. The battlepass system is the trade off for MP being free, I’m cool with that. But if its gonna exist, it cant be as empty with armor as it is

You could at least change your damn colour a lot more. I’d rather the game be buy to play than free if this is what we get.

It isn’t confirmed or anything, but I think Halo 3 style unlocks are coming when the campaign drops on the 8th.
